The First I Never Had

I told my security that we're going to bar a 2 blocks away from the hotel. My security insists on using my SUV to bring us there, so I did accept. Now he's calling the driver. While he's at it. I invited the group to join me in my car since some of them are intoxicated.

"You're a doll Tay. Here lemmme give you a kiss."Cara slurred while trying to give me a drunk kiss. 

"Gahh! Cara there's no need for that! You're breath smells like alcohol. Ughh" I said as I'm pushing her drunk face away, but she's still persistent. She gave me a sloppy kiss at cheek while the group just laughed at us for being best friends as we were in highschool. I was so embarrassed to look at Karlie. I could see at the corner of my eye that she's laughing. 

"Sorry Karlie you have to see that." Cara slurred.

"-hahaha ha what? That doesn't even make sense." Karlie said as she's oblivious at what Cara said, still trying to ease her laugh. 

"Don't listen to her Karlie, she's drunk." I said. Trying to sweep off the conversation.

My security approached me and told me that the car is here.

"Okay,  thank you Alan." I said. "Hey guys let's go! Car's here."

"I am?" Cara cracked another "joke."

Everyone just snicker at her.

"Haaa.. let's go" I said.

As we approached the SUV, I'm supporting Cara in walking since she might go out balance,. I looked behind to check the others. Sam and Ed at listening to what Karlie is telling. I'm glad that they're having a good time.

As the car stopped at the sidewalk. I told my security that I'm going to call them, but he insists to keep watch somewhere at the corner. Since a bar is not always a safe place. I suppose he's right. "Alright then." I said.

As we arrived at the bar, some of our schoolmates are already there. Having a good time at the bar, dancing at the dance floor while someone is singing at the karaoke. 

Cara told us that she's just going to the restroom. I told her that I'll come with her. She insists not to since it's just going to be quick. She went up to my ear and whispered, "I'll be fine dude. Be with her while she's still here." I simply gave her a concerned face, but she gave me an assured face. "Okay" I said as she went to the washroom.

"What did she say?" Karlie asked

"She said that we should order drinks and look for a place to sit." I said casually. 

"Alright! There's a booth over there. Let's go." Sam said.

As we got the booth. Ed asks "so what do you guys want, it's on me."

"Really?" I said.

"Yeah!" He insists.

"Okay maybe just some light beer." I said "I'll have a rum cola" Karlie said.

"Alright" Ed nodded. "How about you Sam?"

"Oh cmon guys! Then I'll have some margarita" Sam said.

"okay be right back." Ed said. "I'll accompany you" Sam follows him while swaying his body with the music.

So it's just us again. We both looked at each other after seeing Sam, we both just laughed at it.

"Anyway, still having fun?" I asked.

"Yeah! Man even though we're adults we're still like those highschoolers."  Karlie says.

"Well except that we don't need to show our fake IDs anymore." I joked. Karlie cracked up at it. I looked at the way she leans her head back as she laughs.
