The First I Never Had

Part 7 (Finale)

"Ahhh the lovebirds are here!" Cara said it out loud. Ed and Sam started to cheer at us. As if they are the only ones who are there. I'm trying to hold my mouth from grinning. 

I told my security to order some food for it's my treat. He was hesistant at first but I insisted, so he said that a coffee would be fine, and sat at one of those twisting chairs. As Karlie and I approached and sat at the groups booth. "Are you guys still drunk?" I asked "Nope. Not anymore, somehow these bacon, eggs and pancakes were the cure." Cara says. That sounds yummy.

A waitress gave us a menu to order. Few minutes later...

"I'll have some bacon and grilled cheese please." I said.

"I'll have some sunnyside up with some toast. Thank you." Karlie said.

"Oh! also can you give that guy at the counter a burger? It's on me. Thank you." The waitress nodded as she listed down our orders and took the menus. I looked at Karlie, who's giving me that sweet look. "What?" 

"That was really nice of you to do that to you security guard." She said.

"Well, I really appreciated at doing his job, especially tonight." Karlie held on to my hand and giving it a squeeze. 
"Just don't hurt her Karlie so her bodyguard won't do anything to anything to you." Cara joked. "Cara!" I told her.

"Don't worry. Instead I'll be the one who'll protect her." Karlie assures Cara.

"Ooooh~" Sam, Ed and Cara both said it in unison. I just looked down. As Karlie placed a kiss on my hand. Now my stomach is turning at the same time grumbling.

"So anyway~" Trying to change the topic. "What are your plans for the few days?"

"Well I'll be back in LA to shoot this new movie. No questions asked about the story." Cara says. "Oh! Can I please watch you at the set? I've never had been to one. Please?" I begged. "Well I'll ask first, then I'll let you guys know." Cara said. I made a fist pump, which made them snigger.

"Anyway~ a while ago Sam and I planned on making a duet for a new song also in making other songs that we have an idea of. So we'll be meeting pretty much more often. " Ed says. "That's awesome you guys! I'm looking forward to that." I said. I can't wait to see and hear their work. "So? How about you guys?" Sam asks.

Well that I didn't thought about. We both looked at each other giving clueless faces until Karlie tells them. 

"I'll be going back home the day after tomorrow a new contract." Everyone nodded. I'm starting to think that she'll be very busy again. "But here's the interesting part in this new company, all of my shoots will be in New York! So I get to live in my apartment there, than living in an airplane." She said in a thrilling way. 

"Wait.. You live in New York?" I asked as I was feeling all surprised and hopeful.

"Gawd Taylor." Cara's all surprised. "You were with the girl almost together the entire night. You haven't asked those first basic questions? What did you guys even talk about a while ago?" Giving me a confused look.

"Well.. talked about a lot of stuff. Mostly our highschool days- Anyway~" I looked at Karlie "So do you Karlie?" She simply nodded. "Yeah somewhere in west village." If I was a cartoon right now, my jaw will drop on the table. 

"Really?!" I live just a few blocks away!" I squealed. 

"Oh my gawd seriously?!" Both of our faces looks so excited. "This is exciting!" 

"I know! We should do some baking and cooking at my house. I won't take no for an answer." I said 

"Deal!" We both looked at the others as they we having fun watching us. 

"Man it's just like the one at the ba- ow!." Ed stopped talking when it seems like he got hurt. 

"What are you talking about?" I wondered.

"Welll~" Cara with her high pitched voice "W-we kind of watched you guys at the booth after you sang your song... and it was like a movie.'" Cara explained as she makes a grin.

(Sigh..) 

"Really? how was it?" Karlie suddenly asks. This girl is something.

"A-ma-zing." Sam says as he taps the table with his hand. Then looks at me and gives me a pat on the back. "Aww thats great to hear." Karlie gives them a grin.

As the food arrives, Karlie then let's go of my hand. This may sound stupid but hy hands started to feel cold. Anyway (shakes my head). Well at least I'll have some more of those later on anyway.

The rest of the early morning, we're starting to feel it now. Seeing Cara yawned, now seems the time to go. "I guess it's time to get some rest now." I said. "Yah. It's been a fun night though." Ed says as he stretches. We all looked at each other.

We asked for the bill and paid our food, and left a tip.

I called Alan to call the driver. Immediately he said that its on its way here. Well that's impressive. "Thank you Alan." I said gratefully.

I checked on my friends. They said that they checked in where the hotel was. Well I guess I'll be dropping them all of  their.

Karlie held my hand again, "Taylor, are you also staying at the hotel?"

"Apparently no. I checked in in another hotel just 15 minutes away since there's not a lot of cars at this time." I explained. "Well, wanna stay in my room instead?" She asked as she's holding both of my hands. Before I even answer her question my security guard told me that the car is here. "Let me think about it." I said as I give her a kiss on the cheek.

I called everyone that the car's here.  Sam and Ed sat at the back, I'm in between Cara and Karlie, who's still holding my right hand. As they drove us back to the hotel Cara and the guys are starting to fall asleep. I looked at Karlie who's seems to be too, but she's still rubbing my hand with her thumb. Well me either. I said to myself. I want to sleep beside Karlie and spoon each other, and when I wake up, the first thing I wanna see is her face and  greet her good morning or vice versa. Well call me clingy and cheesy but I've been wanting this eversince.  

"Hey Alan." 

"Yes Ms. Swift" 

"I'll have you guys check in at the hotel that we are heading to since it's really late. Don't worry about the room." I said "and also I'll be crashing at Karlie's room." Suddenly Karlie looks at me, she stops rubbing my hand. "Alsright Ms. Swift." Alan said.

"Really?!" She sound excited seems that she's no longer sleepy.

"Well you offered so why not take it? Plus, I'm not gonna wait for another night, I think10 years is enough." I said jokingly. She laughs then leans towards my ear.

"Well you have more years to spend time with me now." She pulls my face towards her places a lingering kiss on my forehead. Giving my spine the chills. 

"I have extra clothes that you can borrow for the night." She added as she gives me that satisfied stare of her eyes .

"Sounds perfect." I whispered as I kissed her hand. Here's to many more years to us.

**The reason why I'm all pumped up on writing this fanfic is because in a few days its back to school for us college peeps. I just got this idea from the movie that I watched  titled, 10 years. last monday (Jan 11) It felt like I'm writing a paper again, but only it's more fun. Hehe~
