    I walked up to Emily's house pulling my sleeves down and making sure no bruises were showing. It's hard sometimes. I rang her doorbell and her mom answered. "Oh! Hello Adrian! It's so nice to see you again." she turned her head,"Emily!! Adrian is here." I could hear Emily say," Coming mom!" I wished me and my mom were like that. We are complete opposites of Emily and Mrs. Bower. "Please come in Adrian." she smiled. I walked through the door. Emily ran downstairs."I'm so glad you're here! Come on, Kayla is already here!" she said. Wow. That was surprising. Kayla is usually the last one here always.

We ran up the stairs together into Emily's room. Kayla was sitting at Emily's vanity, in front of her mirror, applying her lip gloss. I don't know why she thinks she needs it. She could go to school without any makeup and still be the prettiest girl in school. Guys are falling left and right for her. But, she acts clueless. 

"Okay, so what did you want to talk about?" asked Kayla. "I don't know. Today I was thinking about the dream and my dad and it just got so over whelming." answered Emily. I still feel bad about her dad. It was such a terrible death. "Can we open a window in here? It's super hot." I asked. "That's cause I'm in here." Kayla said sarcastically flipping her blonde hair over her shoulders. We all busted out laughing. I pushed up my sleeves..... and Emily's face turned as white as a ghost.
