It's the day of the dance and I was now standing in my room staring into my mirror. I saw a girl with long silky straight hair, her bangs in perfect place. Her bright red camisole was under her silky navy deep v-neck blouse was form fitting making her curves so noticeable and beautiful. Her jeggings hugged her legs and stopped at the ankle where her four inch navy blue heals with their silk red ribbon were comfortable around her feet. Going up to her face her make-up was light, the darkest thing was her navy eyeliner. Her already long lashes looked miles long framing her bright hazel eyes. Her caramel skin was almost glowing.

All in all, this girl was beautiful. And I was proud to say, that girl was me. In the last week I have to say, Alex has been proving himself. One day there was a bouquet of flowers in my locker, the next her was at my house trying to actually get along with my family. Dad had already taken to him since he had known the Rodriguez's since forever.

A knock to my door startled me to reality. I looked to see my boys standing there all looking as handsome as ever. Each in a long sleeved(Why are we all wearing long-sleeves?) dress shirt and a pair of dark wash jeans. They each had on a different color, but all managed to pull them off. Anthony, who seemed to be DJing tonight, narrowed his eyes at me,"No."

"Huh?" I blurted confused. I didn't even ask anything.

"You look too pretty. You're not going like that." David clarified.

I rolled my eyes and grabbed my dog-tags and phone before pushing past them.

"Well that's too damn bad. I'm going like this and you can't stop me!" I stuck my tongue out at them childishly. I ran down the stairs amazed that I didn't trip and fall down them in my heals.

I found Luke standing there in a pair of skinny jeans, a navy dress shirt and a pair of navy and white Nikes. Oh I was SO borrowing those.

"Ow my bestfriend is looking SEEEEXY." I winked at Luke who was just grinning at me.

"Well thank you. And you," He put an arm around my shoulder,"Let's just say any guy right now would kill to be your mate." He smirked.

I rolled my eyes,"Yeah, doesn't mean Alex wouldn't kill them before they got within a good 6 foot radius."

Luke snickered. He and Alex have actually been trying to start up a friendship. I'm really happy to see them making an effort because they are both an important part of my life and I can't have them fighting like cats and dogs.

Haha, cats and DOGS. Zing!

Luke and I walked out to his beloved car. His red vintage mustang. He spent an entire year and a half restoring the damn thing. I was in a garage for a year helping him. I swear guys and their cars. They piss me off.

"Hey Mary." I greeted the car. He named the car after his little sister Mary-Anne. At four she was like the daughter I would pray to have. She called me Zia, which is Italian for aunt, or if she wanted something she called me madrina, Spanish for godmother, which I was hers. I was so honored to be such a beautiful and happy little girls Godmother.
