The Tardis stopped, and the doctor stepped out, ready for whatever faced him. Or not. About 5 daleks stood in front of him. "EXTERMINATE!" The beam hit him.
Not even ten seconds into his journey and he was already regenerating. That was a first.
The yellow light surrounded him, and all of a sudden he was a new person. He turned around and stepped back inside the Tardis before the daleks could exterminate him again, and walked over to the mirror cautiously.

The doctor lay Rose down on the bed in her old bedroom.
Please don't let her die. The doctor prayed. Please.
He had been sitting on the edge of her bed for about 20 minutes when he heard a sharp intake of breath. He turned around, and Rose was looking up at him.
"Hello." She said, almost a whisper. She managed to grin slightly, tongue between teeth like always.
"Hello." The doctor replied, smiling. He was absolutely overjoyed that she was alive, and Rose could hear it in his voice.
"I'm alive." Rose said.
"Yes." Said the doctor. "Yes, you are
