Thirty-Eight: Laguna Part 5

Our day on this vacation is about to end. Ilang araw rin kaming sumaya dahil sa get-away na 'to. That is why, for our last stay here, Sergio announced to everyone that he planned a party. The way to end this vacation.

Sergio said, the party will take place in the hotels ballroom at six o'clock at night. Sandra and him are the one who is organizing this party.They both made sure that it will be secured,and nothing will happen.

It's almost six o'clock and I am getting my things ready. Mag isa akong nagaayos dahil sila Saira at Veronica, wala dito ngayon. They are currently away for personal purpose, but they said na babalik daw sila bago mag umpisa ang party.

Inaya nga ako ni Ate Akira sa salon, but sadly, I have to turn her down. Ayokong pumunta sa salon. Last time pumunta ako dun, kinawawa nila yung kilay ko. Tapos minassacre nila ang kamay at paa ko. Napakabrutal kaya nila!

Isa pa, kaya kong mag ayos ng walang tulong sa iba. Someone taught me how to apply a light and natural make-up. Pati sa pagpili ng damit at sapatos, tinuruan rin ako. Sa buhok? I always keep it simple.

Katulad ng ngayon. I am wearing a black leather tube mini-dress. I have a little dark make up on to keep things even. I have a black heels on to match my dress. For my hair, I made it straight split into the middle. I am also wearing necklaces and bracelet, but that's about it.

Simple is better. Being ostentatious will make you look like you are trying too hard.

Before leaving Saira and Veronica's room, and yes I stayed here again, I took another glimpse of myself. I ran my fingers throught my hair and smile to myself.

You look lovely, Alethea. I am proud of what I have become and what I had to do to get where I am now. Even though, he made it harder for me, it was all worth it. That's why everything will be okay.

"Everything will be okay," I whispered to myself and wore my black shoulderbag.

Saira's POV

Tignan nga natin kung anong klaseng suot ang sinuot niya habang wala kami. Is it going to make everyone drool or not give a care?

"10,000 thousand pesos, she will make everyone drool with her outfit," Veronica handed me her money.

"Call! But for 20,000 thousand pesos, she will not only make everyone drool, but also make Elisa Jean jealous and Zain will fall for her again," I said and added my money to the bet.

Ngumisi si Veronica. "Dehado ako ah! Ikaw na ang mananlo kung ganun," sambit niya.

"Oh well, at least nakaipon ako," I shrugged my shoulders.

Sinadya namin ni Veronica ang mauna dito sa party para makita ang reaction nila Zain at Elisa Jean pag dumating si Alethea. When we told her we have somewhere to go, the truth is, we were helping Sergio and Sandra to ready this place.

Not only that, pinakiusapan kami ni Sergio na kumanta mamaya. Although it was unexpected, we didn't refuse his request. Once in a while lang kami kumanta ni Veronica. Might as well grab this opportunity. Everyone is here anyway, babagay ang kantang kakantahin namin.

Unless na lang may hindi kanais-nais na mangyare e 'di walang kantahan ang mangyayare. Kinikilabutan pa naman ako ngayon.

"Pero seryoso, sa tingin mo ba gagana ang plano natin?" nakahalumbaba si Veronica.

"Ewan," I tilted my head to the right. "I mean, titignan lang naman natin kung anong magiging reaction nila e. If it were to fail, e 'di ayon ang sagot natin," sabi ko.
