~*Nathan*~
"Everything alright, mate?" Siva asked as I invited him into the house. I sighed, taking a seat on the sofa. He sat down across from me, looking at me as he waited for my response.
"In all honesty, no."
He frowned, "What's happened?" He leaned forward, resting his elbows on the coffee table in front of us.
"I-..." I trailed off, then continued, "Mia... You remember her, right?"
Siva smiled, "Course I do! Why wouldn't I? I've known her ever since I met Max." He chuckled.
"Right.."
"What about her though?" He asked, his deep, brown eyes staring back at me.
I sighed, looking down into my lap. I could feel my face heating up. I played with my fingers continuously. "I think I'm in love with her." I mumbled.
"What? You need to speak up, Nath." He chuckled.
"I said, I think I'm in love with her..." I spoke louder, the blushing beginning to get worse. I refused to look at Siva, afraid of his reaction.
"Wha-..." He paused, looking up and placing a finger on his chin. I decided to look up at him. "Can I ask you a question?"
I nodded, "Sure, mate."
"When you came over that night... Y'know, for the movie night thing... How did you and Mia know each other?"
No one knows that I work at a school as a security guard... So I find it a bit embarrassing telling him this. But I can trust Siva and I know he doesn't really judge.
"Well... I... I work at her school as a security guard..." I trailed off.
"So... That's how you met her?" I nodded timidly.
"Aw, that's cute." He smiled.
"But Seev, there's problems! It's almost been a week since I've known her!" I exclaimed, putting my head in my hands. "And that never ususally happens."
