11:15 A.M.
Thank God it's Friday!
Nothing much happened yesterday, just took some tests that didn't count - which I thought was very stupid, - Jared pretty much annoying me again, and of course, me seeing Nathan everywhere, either alone, or with that teacher. Ever since the day I got punched, I haven't spoken to him. I know it was probably because he was about to kiss me... But as much as my smart conscience is telling me to forget about him, I just can't. One, he's everywhere, and two, I don't want to forget. I hate to say it, but now I think I... L-
"Okay, class! This project will be due by Tuesday, so get started!" My art teacher said.
I sighed and got up, going over to my art box. The current project we're working on, is drawing and coloring in silverware. I don't know why... But it was fun in a way, and distracted me from my problems. I wouldn't say that I'm bad at art, but it's just not my thing, even though my dad is a cartoonist. I guess I was much more on his music side, than his artistic side. The teacher came over to me, and watched me carefully.
"Mrs. Lowe, I really don't know what I'm doing." I sighed. She took a seat next to me.
"Well, I think you're doing great so far! What are you so confused about?" She asked.
"Just the colors. Like, which ones would I use where?"
"I'd just say to follow the picture. If you see dark, then use the dark colors, if you see light, then use the light colors. And if it goes dark into light, vise versa, then just blend them." She smiled, "Just remember, it doesn't have to be perfect. It's not going to go up into a museum or anything." She winked. I smiled and thanked her and she got up to help other students.
I studied the picture before beginning to color again. Still unsure if I was even doing this right, I tried my best. Like she said, it didn't have to be perfect, right?
The bell suddenly rang, and everyone was rushing to put their things back. I decided to take this project home with me so I could work on it. I smiled at Mrs. Lowe and made my way out of the classroom and down to my locker, where Julie were waiting.
"Hey, where's Kori?" I asked, putting in my combination. I put my book back and shut my locker.
