Lost

Leonardo's POV:

(See I told you I would! Aren't you proud?)

It's been a month since Donnatello disappeared. We've been looking everywhere for him. But no sign of him at all. We wanted to stop a long time ago, but Mikey insisted we keep looking.

We waited on the roof next to April's apartment. I scanned the city once again. Looking for any sign of our brother. I had my knee on the ledge waiting to leap into action.

"Where could he be? Maybe he really has been captured.. or-or even Dead!" Mikey started panicking.

"He's not dead Mikey you said so yourself!" I replied glaring in his direction.

"Well maybe, he... is Leo..." Raph said concern thick in his voice.

"Don't say that Raph, he isn't dead Mikey is right sometimes and maybe even now." I tried to calm Raphael down, but he wouldn't have it that way.

Raph stood up getting in my face his rage boiling over.

"IF HE WAS STILL AROUND OR ALIVE, DONT YOU THINK HE WOULD LET US KNOW SOMEHOW? USE THAT BRAIN OF YOURS ONCE IN AWHILE!!"

I saw the tears falling down his face splashing in the floor.

Raphael slumped down in the floor resting his arms on the lip of the roof, his energy spent.

"He's gone... Forever..." Raphael buried his head in his arms.

Soon I heard Raphael crying. I saw his body shake as his sobs became louder and more uncontrollable.

Mikey sat next to Raphael and held him close crying with him both of them cried uncontrollably there sobs shaking both their bodies.

I looked towards the city once more.

Maybe they're right. Maybe he is gone. We have searched for weeks. We have all our allies searching for him as well. Maybe we have lost Donnatello...

I felt the tears start to flow from my face. I would normally wipe them away, but I let them fall. I needed to let them flow, we needed to grieve for our lost brother...
