I woke up with my head buried in Jack's chest. I thought back to last night. He said yes. Jack is mine, and no one can take him away. I looked up at him. He was still sleeping soundly. I wanted to get up and eat, but he had his arms wrapped my tightly around me. I carefully adjusted it to where I wasn't facing him. I felt his grip tighten, as he turned me back to

him. "Where do you think you're going?" he laughed. "I was going to get food, but now I can't." I whined. "You can't leave me! This bracelet means that you are permanently and can't ever leave." Jack waved the bracelet in front of my face. "That means I love you. I can't have a five year old permanently glued to me." I chuckled, and wiggled from his grasp.

 

I went to get off the bed, but I felt Jack pulled me back. "Noooo!! Don't leave!" he whined. "But I want lucky charms." I pouted. His face lit up, and he quickly rolled off the bed. "Why didn't you say so!? Lets go eat!" he grabbed my wrist and pulled me down the stairs with him. "I just woke up and I'm already out of breath." I panted as we got to the bottom of the stairs. "That's just how breathtaking I am!" Jack yelled. "How the fuck do you have so much energy?" I asked. "I dunno. Maybe it's because I'm so happy!" he ran into the kitchen and sat on a bar stool. I followed him, and got two bowls out of the the cabinet. I went over and got the lucky charms out of the pantry.

 

As I was getting ready to pour the milk into the bowl I felt two hands wrap around my waist. "I love you." Jack whispered into my ear. "I love you too." I turned my head and kissed his cheek. He went back and sat at the counter again. Why was he so weird like that. I thought to myself. He always comes out of nowhere and kisses me or says I love you. Not that I didn't like it, but it was at the most random times, and never made sense. Then again Jack makes about as much sense and a gorilla wearing a tutu, riding a zebra.

 

I shook the thoughts out of my head, and handed the bowl to Jack. "Thank you panda." he chirped. "Your welcome." I kissed his head, and sat down next to him. "No nickname?!" he feigned hurt. "Sorry boo bear." I corrected myself. "Better." he said smugly. After that we sat in a comfortable silence eating our lucky charms in peace. After we had finished, and were sitting on the couch getting ready to watch Home Alone, when Jack asked a question. "What made you choose that one quote to put on the bracelet?" he sat down on the couch as he asked that.

 

I didn't really know why I did, besides the fact it's what Jack asked me. "Because I love you. That's why." I said flatly. "I love you too, but for reals. Why?" he pushed on. "I don't know. I guess since you asked me that when we started going out I thought I could make it official and ask you." I said without thinking. I guess I did have a reason, I just didn't know it. "Aw that's sweet." he cooed. I sat down, and cuddled into his side. He wrapped his arm around, and kissed my head. "Yeah you're right, I am the girl in this relationship." I confirmed randomly. "Finally you agree! Now shut up the movie is on." I looked up at him as he stared at the tv excitedly.

We watched the entire movie, or should I say I listened to Jack say every line word for word of the movie while looking at the television screen. It was cute though. His face lit up in his favorite scenes, and he knew every word. The credits went by, and I was starting to feel tired again. Regardless that it was only noon. "Jacky, can I sleep on you?" I asked drowsily. "Go ahead, but only while I watch the second Home Alone." he told me. He pressed play on the movie, as I laid my head in his lap. My eyes started to slowly close, and my head drifted off into a land of dreams.
