Chapter Six - Never Leave Me (EDITED)
Jacks P.O.V.
I woke up to find a sleeping Alex with his head nuzzled into my chest. He looked so cute and tired I decided not to wake him up, but close my eyes instead. I thought back to last night. Alex asked me to marry him, and I said yes. I would be his forever, and he would be mine forever. As I was thinking I felt Alex start to move. He turned around, and started to get up. I pulled him back down. "Where do you think you're going?" I asked with a laugh. "I was going to get food, but now I can't." he whined. "You can't leave me! This bracelet means that you are permanently stuck to me and can't ever leave." I protested, while waving the bracelet in front of his face. "That means I love you. I can't have a five year old permanently glued to me." he chuckled, as he squirmed from my grip.
I pulled him back down with me. "Noooo!! Don't leave!" I whined over dramatically. "But I want lucky charms." He pouted. Lucky charms were my favorite, and I knew he used it to get me up. "Why didn't you say so!? Lets go eat!" I took his wrist and pulled him down the stairs with me. "I just woke up and I'm already out of breath." Alex said, gasping for air. "That's just how breathtaking I am!" I yelled. I had no clue where all this fucking energy was coming from. "How the fuck do you have so much energy?" Alex asked. "I dunno. Maybe it's because I'm so happy!" I went into the kitchen and sat on the barstool. I watched as Alex got the milk and Lucky Charms out.
He looked so vulnerable, so I went up, and wrapped my arms around his waist. "I love you too." he turned his head and kissed my cheek. After that I went and sat back down at the breakfast bar. Alex looked so confused, and to be honest it was really adorable. He had no clue what had just happened, but I knew he enjoyed it. It's kind of funny to watch as his expressions changed. He looked super cute though. Then again Alex always looked cute. Alex was the equivalent to rainbows mixed with cotton candy, fluffy kittens, and unicorns.
He shook his head, then brought me my bowl. "Thank you panda." I chirped happily. "Your welcome." he kissed me on the head, and sat next to me. I was a little hurt that I didn't get my nick name. "No nickname?!" "Sorry boo bear." he corrected himself. "Better." I said smugly. After that we sat in a comfortable silence eating our lucky charms in peace. After we had finished, and were sitting on the couch getting ready to watch Home Alone, when I asked a question. "What made you choose that one quote to put on the bracelet?" I sat down on the couch while asking him. I knew that it was I had asked him, but I wondered if there was a further reason.
"Because I love you. That's why." he said flatly. "I love you too, but for reals. Why?" I pushed on. "I don't know. I guess since you asked me that when we started going out I thought I could make it official and ask you." he said quickly, but still slow enough to understand. "Aw that's sweet." I cooed. He sat down and snuggled into my side, on instinct I put my arm around him, and kissed his head. "Yeah you're right, I am the girl in this relationship." Alex stated out of nowhere. "Finally you agree! Now shut up the movie is on." I commanded excitedly.
Alex and I watched the first Home Alone all the way through! I was so proud that he didn't get fed up and leave, because of me saying every line. I could tell that he kept looking up at me in awe though. The credits went by, and I saw Alex yawn. How could he be tired, it was only noon. "Jacky, can I sleep on you?" he asked drowsily. "Go ahead, but only while I watch the second Home Alone." I told him. I pressed play on the movie, as he sprawled out across me. I watched as his eyes shut, and he was in a land full of dreams. I kissed his forehead, and whispered. "Never leave me." I couldn't bear losing the one thing that mattered most to me.
