[3 weeks later]
[2 months since outbreak]
"Hannah, how much food is left?" Liam asked from outside.
"Not much. It seemed like so much at the time, too." Hannah said, looking over the few cans of food and bottles of water.
The four decided to stay in the cabin and, while looking around the place, had come upon a huge amount of food. But, that was three weeks ago. Now, there was only a little, and they were hungry once again.
The remaining Yogscast members didn't want to forget anyone who had died during this apocalypse, either. They managed to create empty graves for everyone, with their names spelled out in sticks. They never wanted to forget those wonderful, humorous people who made their lives complete.
Unfortunately, there were now only three Yogscast members left. Kaeyi had become sick after a week staying at the cabin. And, since there was no medicine in the cabin and they couldn't figure out which disease it was, she passed away the next week. They built her grave out with the others.
"You remember Elly?" Liam asked as he came back into the cabin.
"Of course." Hannah said. Kim walked in.
"What're we talking about?" She asked.
"Elly." Liam said.
"Oh. I hope she's doing okay." Kim said.
"Me too. Now, what about her?" Hannah asked.
"I was thinking," Liam continued. "What if one of us goes out there and tries to find them? We're low on food, and maybe they can help. Her uncle said they were doing fine, right?"
"He didn't say they were doing fine. He said Elly's aunt and cousin were there. Anyway, we traveled far away from them. Miles, I suspect. We don't even how far away their cabin was from where we were. How are we supposed to find them?" Hannah asked.
"Well, I volunteer. I think it would work, and if we find them, our butts are saved." Liam said. He started to walk out the door.
"Wait," Kim said. "Your just going out there unarmed? What if there are zombies?"
"There are no zombies. We haven't seen any since before the cannibal community incident." Liam said.
A look of grief passed over Hannah's eyes, but it quickly disappeared. She's been different. She's taken charge of things and takes emotional and physical blows like a passing hit. She's stronger, and that's a blessing to Liam and Kim. They need someone to lead them. You'd think that the death of your closest friends and boyfriend would lead to an emotional breakdown. But Hannah only seemed stronger. Sometimes, it scares the other two. She didn't seem to grief about Kaeyi's death as much as them. Liam would say she's hardened. Kim would say she's seem too much. But it doesn't change anything. Hannah would lead them when they get lost, and bring them back if they've gone too far. She's their leader.
"Okay. You can try. But be careful. Just because we haven't seen any zombies up here, doesn't mean that we won't ever see them again. You can try, but take the shovel out there just in case. And be back by sunset." Hannah ordered.
Liam nodded and walked out the door. He grabbed the shovel and left.
"Are you sure he's going to be alright?" Kim asked.
"Nope." Hannah said. Kim looked at her. "He's going to get hurt. I know it. Then he'll come back to us without Elly and them. A lesson has to be learned the hard way."
Kim looked at her, disbelief on her face. This is the last straw. "What the h*ll Hannah?! Your not the least worried about him? Your betting he's going to get hurt?"
Hannah raised an eyebrow. "I'm just saying."
Kim crossed her arms. "What is your problem the past few weeks? You didn't even flinch when Kaeyi died! She died! Does that mean anything to you? Ever since L-"
"Don't even bring that up." Hannah warned.
"I'm going to have to! Your different, Hannah! What happened to the fun loving girl who cared about everyone go?" Kim questioned.
"That part died!" Hannah yelled. Kim went silent. "The old, 'fun loving girl who cared about everyone' died. That's why."
"That's not true." Kim argued. "I know that part of you is still there. It's just buried because you want it to be. You don't want to have fun or care for anyone again, because you think that if you wear your heart on your sleeve, that it's just going to be broken again."
Hannah stared at Kim for a while, her eyes watering up. She wanted to prove Kim wrong, that the soft part of her was really gone, but it was hard to prove something wrong that's the truth.
Eventually, Hannah stomped out of the room, the tears freely falling from her face, and climbed up the ladder to the bedroom.
Kim saw the tears, and the struggle for control over this situation. But this is one thing Hannah couldn't control.
Kim sat down on the couch beside the now lit fireplace.

Hours later, the sun had set and Liam wasn't back. Kim and Hannah hadn't talked since the fight, but they were finally forced to when Liam hadn't came back.
"Is Liam back?" Hannah asked as she climbed back down the ladder.
"Huh?" Kim asked. She sat up and rubbed her eyes. "Oh, uh, no, I don't think so."
"It's dark. I said he should be back by sunset." Hannah said.
"Well, before anything gets down, I want to apologize." Kim said. "I was just pretty fed up with the..... um...... 'new you'."
Hannah sighed. "I should be the one apologizing. I did sound heartless when I said that about Liam. I feel terrible now. And everything you said about me...... it was all true. I didn't want to admit it, but it's true. I buried away who I truly am because I didn't want to feel grief again. I feel terrible that I didn't 100% grieve Kaeyi. What is wrong with me?" Hannah questioned herself.
Kim walked over. "Nothing's wrong with you. You just locked up your feelings so you didn't feel heartbroken any more. I understand. But I want you to know that it's okay to grieve. To remember the ones you lost. It may hurt, but that's what your supposed to feel. Let it tell you that your alive."
Hannah looked up at Kim. "Thank you."
"... Are we forgetting something?" Kim asked after a few minutes of silence.
The two looked at eachother. "Liam!" They exclaimed at the same time.
The two ran outside and looked around. They called Liam's name a few times, but nothing responded. Not even birds flew away. The world around them was dead.
"I'm going out there." Kim said.
"What?!" Hannah asked.
"I said I'm going out there. You stay here." Kim said.
"No," Hannah stepped in. "I'm coming with you."
"You can't," Kim said. "Someone has to stay here to protect the cabin, and see if Liam comes while I leave. You stay here, I'm going to try to find him."
Hannah grabbed Kim's arm. "Be careful. And remember: I care about you and Liam and everyone. Be careful."
Kim smiled and nodded. "I promise."
Hannah let go of Kim's arm, and the black haired girl walked into the woods in search of a Scotsman.
