Your Story (A Benedict Cumberbatch Imagine Fan Fiction)

Birthday

"Y/N wake up!"
You drag your eyes open as Bonnie jumps on your bed.

"Why?" You murmur into your pillow.

"What do you mean 'why'. It's your birthday!" She suddenly yanks the pillow from under your head and starts smacking your head with it.
You pull the duvet over your head and bury yourself.

"Can't be bothered" you murmur as you lie face down into your mattress.

"Y/N come on! Ben, Gaby and Oliver will be here in half an hour and I want you to open my present first!" She lies over you and says into your ear.

"Okay, sorry" you reply tiredly, fighting your way out of the duvet and sitting up, pushing Bonnie off you.

"I know your feeling low but it's your day today and I promise you that you'll enjoy it" you adjust yourself so that she can sit next to you on the bed. You smile and wrap your arm around her and press the side of your head with hers.

"Right. I'm going to go and get your present. Wait right there" she says as she quickly gets off the bed and leaves your bedroom.
You check your phone and read your messages.

Happy Birthday Y/N darling! Because Tim is so rubbish on the mobile this text is from the two of us. Have a lovely day and relax! You've earned it love. Sending you a big hug and kiss.

*raises drink* here's to the 24 years that the world has been privileged enough to have you walk on it. I've never known anyone as kind and loving as you and I'm the most privileged man alive to be able to see your face nearly everyday. You smile briefly and check the Internet quickly. You log into Twitter and see that millions of people have tweeted for your birthday. You scroll through them all quickly, all of them were mainly photos of you and Ben with the captions of happy birthday. Most of them were containing the phrase "secret girlfriend" and "star crossed lover". You smile at the kind words of Benedict's fans before hearing footsteps coming into your room.

"Birthday breakfast for the birthday girl" Bonnie says happily. She places a tray on your lap. You look down and see sweet waffles with strawberries  and chocolate chocolate sauce. Next to the plate was a glass of orange juice with a pink straw.

"This looks amazing Bon. Thank you" you say, picking up your knife and fork.

"Get eating, you need to open your present" she says excitedly as she sits next to you and places a wrapped parcel on her lap.

"Yes ma'm" You reply. She laughs and rests her head on your shoulder.

Bonnie takes the tray from your lap and places it next to her on your bed. She replaces it with the wrapped parcel. You smile as you hold it and pick the card up from the top.

You unseal the card and look at the cover. You laugh slightly.
It was a customised card of you and Bonnie when you went to the zoo and you both feeding the giraffes. Bonnie was holding a large leaf to the giraffe whilst it was licking your head. Your both laughing hysterically on it.
The caption underneath it read

Irritable to all animals now are we? ;-)

You laugh and read the inside of the card before turning to Bonnie and giving her a hug.
