Twenty six

I woke up in the hospital, Harry asleep beside me his hand locked on to mine, Harry's friend Theo walks around the curtain with a cafe cardboard cup in his hand
Theo "are you alright do you want me to call the nurse"
E "no I'm fine"
Theo "do you want anything to eat or drink"
E "no thank you...can you take him home to get some rest"
Theo "he won't go I've already asked and told him too"
E "okay well you should go home get some rest"
Theo "I'm fin I've been home...I thought I'd come in and see how you was both doing"
E "aw thanks" I smile at him
Theo "how are you like not your leg but you about it all"
E "scared" I sigh
Theo "don't worry I won't let her near you again...I mean us like Harry and all his boys"
E "thanks" I laugh
Theo "we've cleaned all the glass and broken stuff up out of Harry's house so you can go home and not be faced with that"
E "thank you" an awkward silence
E "um sorry for being a pain but can you get me a cup of tea from the canteen"
Theo "yh sure" he got up and let, I nudge Harry waking him up
E "Harry wake up"
H "mmm yeah yeah"
E "you should go home gat some sleep"
H "no no I need stay and keep you safe I need to make it up to you" he says half asleep
E "babe it's fine"
H "no it's not"
E "at least come and lay with me so your More comfortable" he gets up and shuffles on to the bed, the nurse walks in
Nurse "good morning Ella, how are you?"
E "yeah I feel fine"
Nurse "your leg feeling okay no pins and needles or sharp pains" I shake my head
Nurse "we will get a doctor In here to check on you and he might send you home"
E "okay thank you" I smile at her, Theo comes back with 2 more of Harry's mates, we sat down and chatted, I heard lux scream my name down the corridor, she climbs up on the bed and hugs me, missing my leg she sits on me and hands me a card she made, I red inside while she tortured Harry, Lou and Lottie with the boys walking round the corner hugging me Nd kissing me on the cheek as a greeting
Lux "do you like my card" she says in a sweet innocent  tone
E "it's lovely...did you make it all by yourself" she nods
E "wow! Your so good...it's my favourite"
Lou "what's the doctor said"
E "she's gunna get a doctor to check my leg and if he fine with it and me then he might send me home"
Lou "Harry fancy taking lux and your mate and the boys down to the canteen while we have a girly chat" he nods picking up lux, all of the boys following him
Lou "so how are you"
E "fine"
Lou "Ella I know your not going to be fine after having a piece of glass being pierced into your leg by Harry's crazy ex"
E "I just don't want to think about it but it's hard....I'm scared that she might come back and do it worse or do something to Harry"
Lou "she won't do nothing to Harry" I sigh
Lou "talk me through what happened"
E "me and Harry went for dinner and after went out with his mates I only went because he told me you both was going to be their I stayed like 15 minutes then went home, I got to the door and it was open, the lock broke so I rang Harry told him he told me he was on his way and brought his mates, but I couldn't wait so I went in the living room was smashed to pieces i went in the kitchen and she was standing their she started saying stuff like it was my fault he wasn't with her and that I got her dream and she was saying I was going to get what I deserved and was going to pay for what I done, she had this piece of glass behind her back I could see it before I knew it she pinned me against the floor with it up against my throat, I answered back a couple of times and then when she heard Harry she stabbed my in the thigh with the piece of glass and then all I can remember is Theo rugby tackling her off me"
Lou "so she was jealous" I nod
Lou "well do you know what's going on with her" I shake my head
Lou "I'll go speak to Harry" her and Lottie leave

Theo dropped me and Harry home once I was aloud to go home and he went back to his to get some clothes as he was staying in the spare room for a couple of nights because his house was being decorated, me and Harry snuggled up on the sofa and watched TV, Theo came back and put his stuff upstairs in the spare room, he came back down and went straight back out.

The front door slammed shut I awoke startled, grabbing the closest heavy thing near me, I went down stairs to see who was, the kitchen light was on, I walked in slowly, catching my leg on the side of counter, I shriek in pain and fall on to the floor, it was Theo , he comes rushing over
Theo "oh my god are you okay" he kneels down beside me
E "yeah yeah I'm fine" I look up at him catching his eye, we stare for a couple of second before I break it by turning back to my leg
E "can you help me up please" he rushes up of the floor grabbing my hand and gently pulling me up, his hooks his finger around my chin pulling my face round to face him, he goes in for a kiss
E "Theo!" I pull away
E "Harry's your best friend and my boyfriend we can't do this"
Theo "so if he wasn't you would"
E "well your attractive and a nice person and has got a hot bo......that would never happen so that question is un answer able" he smirks laughing
E "now I'm going a bed goodnight!"
Theo "wait are you sure your okay" I nod and walk upstairs
I had hardly any sleep I was paranoid I couldn't keep my eyes shut and when I did I had visions of lily hurting me or Harry, not even cuddling into Harry helped, when Harry woke up I told him about the visions and being paranoid
H "Ella she's gone to prison for attempted man slaughter and then is going into a mental institution because she fucked in head she's not coming back and will never lay a finger on you again"
E "I know! But it still doesn't help don't you think I told myself that last night, I did I told myself a thousand times but still couldn't get rid of the visions or feeling that someone was in our room watching us!" I shouted at him he looked at me shocked
E "I'm sorry, I'm just tired" I snuggle into him
Harry had to go to a photoshoot and interview today for their new album, that meant I was left home all day with Theo, when Harry went Theo wasn't even up so I led on the sofa and watch a movie hoping it would send me asleep, but I still couldn't go asleep, by the time the 2 hour long film finished Theo was awake making himself some breakfast.
He sat down besides me and we started talking I told him about the visions and not being able to sleep
Theo "yeah I think you should get some sleep very soon" he smooths his thumb along my cheek and under my eyes, they was warm and comforting they made me feel safe
Theo "your getting bags"
E "am I actually" he laughs, I smack him playfully, we stop and stare into each other's eyes for a bit, he goes in for another kiss but I dodge it by laying down with my head on his lap, I hear his sigh and feel his arm lay on top the side of my waist.
I woke up and was still resting on Theo's lap
E "Harry not home yet" I slur
Theo "no...did you have a nice rest"
E "yeah I feel so much better now"
Theo "you looked beautiful even when you was exhausted...you blow my mind your so perfect" I wanted to smile but it was bad enough I was led on his lap
E "thanks" I get up of his lap and sit up straight
Theo "you don't have to rush"
E "um listen your a nice friend to Harry and me and that's all me and you will be is friends"
Theo "yeah I know that"
E "then stop flirting it makes me feel uncomfortable and awkward"
Theo "but you didn't find it awkward and uncomfortable when you was led on my lap asleep, you didn't find it awkward when you couldn't sleep when with Harry but you could me because you felt safe, you didn't find it awkward when me and you was talking in the hospital when Harry was asleep" I stayed silent "exactly it doesn't make you feel like that you enjoy it and I know that you think about me when your with Harry and when your not, you don't just not feel anything when you know they make you feel safe, safe enough to fall asleep on their lap,I'm staying here for a couple more days and I guaranteed at one point I will say I told you so!"
E "no you won't because I'm not going to do that to Harry I love him yeah I may not feel safe around him but do you because I seen you get her off me and keep her away when Harry just worried, if you wasn't their I problem would of been worse and I appreciate that and thank you for that but that doesn't mean I'm going to fall in love with you or get in bed with you, I love Harry, I just see you as a mate nothing more, now please stop with the flirting"
Theo "I'm a natural flirty person" I sigh
E "just try you hardest" he nods his head finally giving in to my orders
When Harry got back he went straight to bed didn't even speak to me or look at me, Theo looked at me as if he was saying to me I told you so
Theo "you love that?" He says under his breath
E "don't! He's tired, he's had a long day at work why don't you try that sometime" he laughs
Theo "you can't really say that you haven't got a job yourself"
E "I'm 18 not 24"

Theo "Go to school then" I glare at him and go upstairs, Harry was led in bed. I sit besides him

E "What's wrong?" he turns and faces me, grabbing my hand

H "Nothing im just tired" he moves aside and taps the empty space besides him, I get in and his arm wraps around me and he kisses me sweetly

E "I love you"

H "I love you too" he replies quietly
