Thirty One

I slept with Derek, I felt so guilty, only because I knew Gabe was a good person, I needed to end what we had
D "ah your up!" Derek walked into the room
E "I need to go!"
D "why?"
E "that shouldn't of happened!"
D "why because you love Gabe"
E "i don't love Gabe I thought I did but I don't, I just want time to think"
D "don't block me out I trusted you"
E "and I promise that I won't tell anyone I will speak to you again I just need some time to think things through and sort myself out!" He pulls me closer
E "I promise" I whisper and he kisses me, I grab my car keys and drive to Gabe's, I needed to end it with him.
I knocked on his door, I knew that rose was there, by the way he was acting
G "can you come back later?"
E "no I need to do this now! Can you just come out here and listen to what I have to say?" He huffed and stood outside
G "go on!"
E "I don't feel ready for another relationship, I'm 18 and I need some space to sort myself out"
G "your breaking up with me?" I nod
G "okay" he walks back into his front door frame
E "um bye I guess?" He smiles and closes the door
I drove back to my mums, I had a bath and got dressed, I needed some space to think so I climbed out of my bedroom and sat on top the garage roof, looking at the view of the fields behind my house, my mum comes up and sits next to me, I put my head on her shoulder
M "are you okay baby girl?" She looks down me
E "confused"
M"about?"
E "life"
M "why?"
E "I wanna do something with it, like move out get my own house and a job"
M "have a family?" I nod
M "there not working out like it was for you and Harry" I shake my head
M "I'm not going to sugar coat it for you Ella...when you was with Harry that was the happiest I've ever seen you...he may of been your 1st true love but that doesn't mean he can't be the one...try and sort things out with him"
E "I can't he hates me!...anyway there's someone else...but he's different...he's older...like 28 years of age"
M "Ella how many times have I got to tell you! Age doesn't matter! If you love and care for him and he does for you then you do it for you not because of anyone or anything else!" I stay quiet and think
M "what's stoping you from moving out? And getting a job?"
E "I have no money to move out and buy a house with, I can get a job and I am going to but it's going to take me years to save up"
M "have you not been told?"
E "about what?"
M "your great nan and nan saved up for you and made you a bank account for this sort of stuff"
E "how much"
M "about £200,000"
E "what!" My mouth dropped
M "go to your nan and get her to unlock your account"
E "I'll be sensible and unlock it when I need it"
M "good thinking" she kisses my forehead
M "who do you love or like more Harry Gabe or this other man"
E "I know that I don't like Gabe...I thought I did but I don't"
M "what about Harry?"
E "he hates me I can't get back with him!"
M "fine then this 28 year old man"
E "I don't know him enough...he's different and he cares"
M "do you care?"
E "I think so"
M "get to know him more!...I think I know what's happening with you...you had such a good start with Harry your expecting for the others to be like that...but it doesn't happen and you end it with them...you still love Harry"
E "no I don't!" She smiles
E "I don't he's a dick!"
H "not a nice way to speak about me like that" he smirks
E "just saying the truth" I fake smile back
M "I'm going to go and clean" she smiles and walks off
H "so your not with Gabe and already have another boy"I just look down at my thumbs twiddling in my lap
H "you know I wish it didn't end like this"
E "what do you mean?"
H "for us to hate each other"
H "we went through a lot"
H "I will always care even though Im nasty at points and say I hate you but I don't mean it"
E "I don't want this...and I don't need this!...can you just please stop fucking with my head!"
H "I'm sorry" I got up and went back inside, i grabbed my coat and keys and ran down stair to my car.
I missed and still loved him, maybe my mum is right maybe I should try and make up with Harry, but I promised Derek, I got out of my car and went back to my room, I looked out of the window and Harry was still their with his head in his hands, I sat down next to him
H "I'm sorry about everything... For ruining your life...for treating you like shit...I'm sorry about all of it.i understand why your mad at me"
E "everything you said hurt and still does to think that you think them things of me!"
H "I don't I just said them out of anger!" I sigh
H "I know you hate me and I know you don't want nothing to with me...but I need to release this guilt it's killing me"
E "I say I hate you but I don't...I never did and Gabe and this other boy there only to try and take the pain of you away"
H "so you never liked them" I shake my head
E "I just wanted attention the same attention I had of you"
H "was they good at being me?" He laughs
E "no" I smirk
H "I miss that!" I turn and look at him
H "you..your smile" my cheeks start to blush
E "you don't understand how good it feels to hear you say that"
H "show me then" I look at him in confusion
E "wha..." He cuts me off by kissing me but I pull away
E "I don't know if I can trust you"
H "I promise! Let me show you...move back in we can go away...like move away I'll leave the band we can have our own life"
E "I don't want you to do that!"
H "move in with me again?"
E "I don't know"
H "think about it" i nod, he kisses my forehead and goes back into his house, I stay sitting on the roof and look out at the sun set.
I stayed there for hours with my phone off and no where near me just thinking, I stilled liked harry but I couldn't stop thinking about Derek in that way, but I knew it wouldn't be like what me and Harry have, I think that i should just be friends with Derek and try things again with Harry. When it got really dark and cold I went inside and went asleep.
I woke up hot and sweating, I was having a nightmare, I turn my phone on and all of my miss calls off Derek started buzzing through my phone, I rang him back
D "hey!"
E "what's wrong?"
D "I was just worried that you wasn't okay"
E "why?"
D "I dunno just was"
E "oh okay?"
D "you haven't told anyone?"
E "no"
D "good...have you thought about you know?"
E "umm yeah" i sounded really guilty shit
D "that doesn't sound good" he laughs slightly
E "um I'm going to try things with my ex again but I promise I won't tell anyone about you and I still just wanna be friends and I mean it not the just friends sort of way and never speak"
D "yeah sure I appreciate it"
E "sorry"
D "nah it's fine"
E "to me it's not!...I'm sorry...I'm going to go"
D "okay...bye"
E "...bye" he ended the call
I got up and had a shower and got dressed, I walked back into my bedroom and Harry was sat on my bed
E "oh my god!...what are you doing in here!"
H "let me take you out for breakfast?" I smile and nod
H "finish getting dressed then and we will go" the dint of him made me really happy
I finished getting dressed and he drove us to the cafe, we sat down and ordered some food. We finished eating it and walked across the docks, we held hands and it was like old times again, we sat down on the water front and just talked
H "have you thought about the moving in" I nod
H "well?"
E "yeah I'll move in again" he smiles and kisses me
H "I'm so glad we're sorted out"
E "me too" I kiss him multiple times his hand on the side of my face and his thumb holding my cheek
H "do you wanna go back to mine?" He smirks, I bite my lips and we both get up and start walking back to his car.
He parked up out side of his house and we went inside, I waited for him to enter his house, he walked in a closed the door behind him, he pushes me on the sofa and gets on top of me
H "God I've missed you"
E "you promise not to hurt me this time?"
H "I promise" I kiss him, his breathing started getting heavy, he puts his hand down my jeans
E "no Harry!" He pulls his hand back out
E "not yet" he nods and I kiss him
H " I have another question for you, we go back on tour next week are you going to stay or do you want to come with me?"
E "um"
H "you don't have to have an answer yet"
E "I'll need some time"
H "I'll need to know by the end of this week" I nod, he got off me and I got up off the sofa.
I finished moving my stuff into his house and he cooked us some food, we sat down at his dinner table and ate, I ran upstairs to get my phone after I ate, I had 10 miss calls from Derek, so I rang him back
E "hey?"
D "Ella I need your help"
E "yeah sure what's wrong?"
D "can you come over and I'll explain"
E "um yeah okay" he put the phone down, I walk downstairs and grabbed my car keys
E "um I just need to go see a friend"
H "okay will you be alright on your own"
E "yeah I won't be long"
H "okay"
I walked out to my car and drove to Derek's, I knocked on his door and he let me in,
E "what do you need to explain?"
D "nothing I just wanted to see you" he smirks
E "seriously why didn't you just say?"
D "because I didn't want to see you in a friendly way and I know you would say no"
E "what are you going on about"
D "I wanna fuck you again"
E "no! I told you I was trying things with my ex again"
D "and I care because?" He went in to kiss me but I go to leave, he grabs my wrist tightly and pulls me back
E "get off me your hurting me!" He smirks again and pins me against the wall and start kissing my neck
E "Derek! Get off me!" I kick him in the shin but it doesn't even hurt him, he pulls away from my neck and his eyes were glowing red, he growled at me
E "please!" A noise from his kitchen distracted him and he let me go, I quickly ran out the front door and got in my car and drove off, my tires spinning off his curb.I drove back to Harry's and made up a story that I could tell Harry if he asked me anything. I walked in and sat down by him,
H "are you okay?" I nod
H "what was wrong with your friend?"
E "she was just asking if I could get her some hair dye and dye it for her one day"
H "she could of asked you that over the phone"
E "I said I'd go over cus I haven't seen her in ages
H "oh"
E "I'm going to go have a shower and then go a bed"
H "alright then I'll be up in a bit" I kissed him
