Four days.
I've moped around for four days.

I gathered all of my courage to ask her out and she said no.
She didn't even know who I was.

I sighed.
I've been cooped up in my apartment for the last 4 days.
Maybe going for a walk would help.

I grabbed my coat and went out the door.

The sun burned but my eyes quickly grew accustomed to the light.

It was pretty cold, I can't wait for summer to come.

It felt nice to be somewhere besides my apartment though.

As I was walking a girl coming out of a store,dressed in a dress with tulips on it, caught my eye.

Tulips
Tulips...
Tulips!

I smiled when I thought of seeing Hyejin, maybe she works today?

I made my way to the flower shop but something wasn't right.

The sign wasn't on the building and the store was filled with boxes.
The doors weren't even open.

I knocked on the door and it opened seconds later to reveal what I think was the boss.

"Sorry sir, we're closing. No flowers today"
"Oh uh no. I was wondering if Hyejin was working today?"
She gave me an apologetic smile "All the employees had to be laid off, I'm sorry"

Was I ever going to see her again?
"Oh well thanks" I shoved my hands into my pockets and spun around to leave.

"If it helps she said something about going through the park for the train station"

Hope.
I turned around and grinned "Thank you" before turning on my heel making a break for the park.

Why did I want to see her again so badly? I could've just left it the way it was, I could've just let us go our separate ways.

But no.
Something was telling me to go see her.
