Part 2/ Day After

It was the day after Gerard had gotten Frank's number. He was nervous about calling it. It may be a joke or a prank. But he toughened up & did it. He began to type in the numbers on his phone as it was on the small note. *riiing riiing* As the phone rang, Gerard was getting more & more nervous. As he was telling himself to hang up, he hears a voice on the other end.
(Telephone conversation)
Frank: Hello? This is Frank.
Gerard: um uh hey Frank..
Frank: who is this?
Gerard: i-its uh.. Gerard..
Frank: oh hey Way!
Gerard: hehe
Frank: oh I mean Gee.. Sorry
Gerard: its alright
Frank: hey do you wanna go get coffee later? 6 pm, Starbucks. The one near the highschool.
Gerard: oh sure. See yeah there.
Frank: cool. See ya. *click* (end of call)

Gerard was excited. Frank actually wanted to hang out with him? He thought. Then he got another phone call. It was Ray.. He couldn't tell Ray he was hanging out with Frank or he'd get suspicious. (Phone conversation)
Ray: Hey Gee
Gerard: oh hey Ray
Ray: I was wondering if you wanted to see a movie later? With me & Christa. You can bring Mikes.
Gerard: oh um uh well I'm actually going to be busy later.. Sorry
Ray: really? You? Gerard Way? Busy on a Saturday night? Are you kidding me?
Gerard: actually yeah I am busy & I gotta go.. My uh um mom needs me for something
Ray: hm okay then Gee.. But I'm watching you *click* (end of call)

Gerard was nervous. Ray was getting suspicious & he was meeting up with  Frank in a few hours. Gerard tried to ignore his worries & begin to get ready. He took off his old clothing & slipped a black Misfits shirt on. Then slid on some dark skinny jeans & his black converses. He brushed through his semi-tangled black hair. Then looked in the mirror, "well I don't look too shitty I guess." He mumbled, as he slid on a black jacket & headed out the door. Starbucks was only a few blocks away, so he decided he would walk. When he got there he saw Frank sitting at a table with two coffees, on his phone. Gerard sat down. "Hey.." He said with a little smile. Frank looked up, & put his phone down. "Oh hey Gee. I got you a coffee.. Its on me" Gerard smiled, "oh.. Thanks." They had both finished their coffee, but kept talking. They talked for an hour, then Starbucks was closing so they had to leave. "Well it was nice talking to you" Gerard said. As he began to walk down the sidewalk in the rain. Frank stopped him. "Hey did you not drive here?' Gerard replied "no its only a few blocks away & I didn't know about the rain" Frank looked up at the sky then back at Gerard. "Here, get in. I'll give you a ride." Gerard tried not to blush. "Oh.. Thanks." He said getting into Frank's small, beaten up car. The sky was dark & cloudy as they drove to Gerard's. Frank turned on to radio & the Misfits were playing. Frank turned it up some more. "I love this song!" Frank said enthusiastically. Gerard smiled. "I do too.. Hehe" Then they got to Gerard's house. "This is it." Frank stopped the car. "Well I had fun. See ya Monday, Gee." Gerard began to get out of the car & he stopped. "Hey frank.." "Yeah gee?" Frank replied curiously. "When you said I was cute.. What did you mean?" Frank blushed & laughed a little. "Well Gee I meant your cute. And that I like you.." Gerard smiled. "I like you too Frankie.."
