TAYLOR'S POV:
The wind whipped violently around me, pushing me to keep walking forward I couldn't exactly tell where I was going but, I'm pretty sure it was towards my parents house. By now I was soaked by the downpour but, I didn't care. I just wanted a hug.
After a while I realized I didn't know at all where I was so, I stopped walking.
A block away I saw two buildings all lit up with lights, sighing, I dragged my feet in that direction. I ended up inside of a large luxurious hotel.
"Could I use your bathroom?" I asked the young boy at the desk- who was engulfed in his phone. "Thanks." I muttered and followed the signs.
I stared at myself in the mirror, my hair had naturally curled up-after an hour of straightening it, the blush on my cheeks was washed off and the only makeup still on my face was my lipstick and mascara.
I exited the bathroom and made my way back to the lobby. My shoes making the "squish" noise as I walked.
"Taylor?" I froze. Great. You found me. Use this against me paparazzi.
"Um yeah," I mumbled still froze where I was, gazing at the ground. I felt a slight tap on my shoulder. Something paparazzi never did, so it made me wonder.
"You're soaked." I turned to look at who ever this person was.
ED'S POV:
"Ed," she smiles.
Why is she smiling?
"I thought you were paparazzi." She laughs slightly. "Wouldn't want them to see me looking like this."
"Why? You look good," I change the subject before she could say anything in return.
"Would you like some food." I hold up a large box of pizza that Stuart gave me before he left a few minutes ago.
"If you don't mind," she pushes a strand of her curly, wet hair behind her ear. "I would love some."
+++++
Walking up the stairs was exhausting (the elevator was broken), I could tell that both of us were tired.
Suddenly Taylor trips over the last stair stumbling in to my arms. I see her eyes closed. I'm guessing she's waiting to see if she hit the ground. Slowly she opens her eyes probably realizing she is safe. I gently place her on the ground.
"Um thanks," she smiles wide. "I'm the clumsiest person I know." She laughs slightly (nervously)
All I did was a friendly favour.
"Clearly you don't know me. " I say unlocking the hotel door.
I pull out two plates and place them on the small kitchen table beside the pizza and hand her a towel to dry off with.
+++++
After finishing a pizza and an hour of playing random tunes on the guitar(while having little conversations in between), we knew each other just a bit better. So we continued doing the same thing.
"You never did tell me why you were walking in the rain during the night..." I started as we lounged out on the floor.
"You never asked me why I was walking in the rain during the night." Taylor teased, suddenly looking not as happy.
"Taylor..." I muttered. Taylor sighed, after a minute of her just picking at the carpet she spoke again.
"I was going to talk to my parents,"
"At this late of night?" I pressed.
"Well, I didn't get the phone call until later yesterday." Taylor mumbled, now getting distracted with her nails.
"What phone call?" It was getting annoying, her just not being specific.
Taylor rose to her feet so, suddenly it was kinda scary. "You'll find out in a few days." She mumbled, heading for the door.
Just like that she was gone.
