By the looks of things, it seemed like Zayn and Harry would just be lounging around the house on Saturday. Zayn didn't want to be stuck inside. But they couldn't really go anywhere because it was pouring down rain today.
"Its lighting outside and you're standing at the window?" Zayn heard, and then he felt two hands on his stomach, pulling him closer. He melted into his touch, loving the feeling of Harry's covered chest against his bare back.
"Because I'm bored. How long have you been up?"
"I just finished showering and drying my hair. So I'd say at least thirty minutes. He put his lips to Zayn's ear. "What about you?"
"An hour."
"Oh. Have you eaten anything?"
"No."
"Wanna go out?"
"In the rain?"
"It's not like we'll be eating in the rain. We'll be inside."
"I don't know." He turned around out of Harry's touch to see that Harry was in a T-shirt and underwear, unlike himself who was at least in joggers and socks. "We still have to drive in it."
"Don't worry. I'll drive us."
He pouted and stuffed his hands in his pockets. "You always drive when we go places."
"Hm? We hardly ever go places together."
Zayn was quiet, remembering that he and Harry were sort of drifting apart here in Zayn's world, before he turned into a man again. Harry didn't know he was dating Veronica for the past five months in her world. "Right... well... where are you wanting to go?"
"There's a breakfast eatery inside the mall. We could go there and then when we're finished, we can walk around for a little while."
Zayn twisted his mouth sideways as if he were thinking. "Breakfast at noon. Hmm. Okay. But I have one condition."
"What?"
"I'll go out if you agree not to show me any public displays of affection. That means you can't kiss me in public, hold my hand or anything."
Harry knit his brows. "What? Why not?"
"It's for precautionary measures."
"Why do we need precautionary measures?"
"Because... When we went to the nightclub and saw Mrs. Harris, she told us that she saw us and she decided to come over and say hi. Well, how do we know who else saw us didn't say hi. And what if they know Yvette because let's face it, we-- I don't know who all that girl knows in this city. But I guarantee you whoever she knows, they know she's dating you and they know what you look like. I would rather not ruin things for you when you go to talk to her on Monday, okay? That's just how I feel."
Harry was going to argue that but after Zayn explained that the way he did, he knew he was right. His mother had told him not to mention Zayn to her during the breakup. But it would be defeating the purpose if he did all those things in public and someone ended up telling Yvette before he had a chance to call them off.
"Alright. You're right. I'll keep my hands and my lips to myself."
"Thank you."
"So are you up for going right now?"
"Yes but you better put something on to cover your head so you don't get sick or I'm not going. Because I'm not taking care of you." Again...
"I have a hat on my raincoat."
"Then wear it."
Harry gave him a look of surprise. "Wow, you seem to care so much about my wellbeing. I mean, you always have but I've never ever seen you like this. When did this happen?"
