John stared at the number in his apartment. Should he call it? What would happen? He sighed and sat on his couch.
His apartment wasn't that great. He had a slightly torn couch, a bed with a broken spring or two, a mini refrigerator, a small oven and microwave, and a tv that glitched out every other day. Although, he didn't mind it. It was more than nothing. Even though he had to ask His friend Riley to do his laundry for him.
Riley lived next door. He lives with his mother, he doesn't like to mention her though. She apparently likes to spend her time in her room alone.
John shook his head, his mind was getting off topic. He looked at the number again. Before he knew it he grabbed his phone and called the number.
There was a deep voice John didn't exactly recognize. "Hello, who is this?" It asked "My name is John... from Starbucks.." he said awkwardly. "Oh, then hi. I'm Carter by the way. Ross is, currently in a game right now..." he said. Then John heard cheering and a more highpitch voice yelling "NOOOOOOOO! WHY HAVE THE GODS FAILED ME?!" "And he just won..." Carter said, laughing a little.
Then there was rustling. "Hello?" Another voice asked. It was Ross this time. "Hi..." John said awkwardly. "How about you meet me at costco in thirty minutes? Don't ask why there." He said, slightly rushed. "Okay..." John said. "Ok. See you later alligator." Ross said then hung up.
John sighed and stood up. Should he get ready? He at least had to do his hair and change into clean clothes. He then went to go change.
