As Kiara was walking home from drawing it was about 5:00 PM and she was in no rush wandering about the town on the way to her house. As she was walking she noticed people rushing around with worried faces which was slightly unusual because most the time her town was peaceful but as she turned her head to look into the sky there was a black dot slightly smaller than the bright sun casting rays of sunlight onto the the ground.
She noticed how close they were, suddenly, as as the black dot AKA the moon touched the tip of the sun and started covering it making her surroundings begin to dim. Her eyes widened as people suddenly started yelling and screaming racing around trying to take cover. Kiara's heart began to race as she darted through the people trying to make her way to her house.
As the dark moon was half way covering the sun Kiara ran through the crowd trying to reach her house but suddenly she got knocked over and the crowd ran screaming and as everyone cleared away she looked up at the sky as it was suddenly completely dark and she struggled sitting up as she saw there was no one around anymore.
She frantically looked around her heart racing with fear as she saw a huge black blur race around from house to house. She suddenly stood up and tried to run until she felt a stinging pain in the back of her left leg as she fell to the ground onto her side. She looked over and saw two huge black paws next to her face as she slowly drifted into a dark sleep.
