Chris Chamber's Fanfic-"Chamber's Kid"

Chapter 4

You took a seat located in the middle of the classroom, expecting Chris to go off and sit somewhere else with his other friends. Instead, he took a seat right next to you. Throughout the whole class you couldn't pay attention, all you could think about was Chris. You were just so glad you, at least, knew someone, considering you've only been in Castlerock for less than a week. The class flew by, and before you knew it, the bell rang. You grabbed your stuff, and stared to walk to your next class which was English. Chris caught up to you, and once again, you walked to class together. Once you got there, Mrs. Caren told you where to sit based on your last name. Since yours started with an 'L', and his started with a 'C', you didn't sit that close to each other. But every once in a while during class, you noticed Chris looking back at you. For the next 40 minutes you listened to Mrs. Caren talk, trying to pay attention this time. Once class ended you grabbed your things, and walked towards the door. 

"Hey, Cassy." Chris said before you could make your way out of the classroom. You then turned around to look at him. "Meet me at lunch, okay?" He added. 

"Sure thing, Chris." You said smiling.

You and Chris then went your separate ways. You went to math while he went to gym. For the rest of the morning you were waiting for lunch, and you were truly excited to get to know more about Chris. Finally, when the lunch bell rang, you rushed to your locker to get your lunch money. You then hurried to the lunchroom, making sure to keep a lookout for Chris. The lunchroom was very crowded which didn't make it any easier to find him. You looked around the room, scanning everybody's face, but couldn't seem to find Chris. You decided to take a seat at a somewhat empty table, and wait. But the second you sat down, someone tapped on your shoulder. Surely thinking that it must be Chris, you turned around. Looking up, you realized it wasn't Chris at all.
