"Hello?" You shouted up from the hole you were standing in. You were taking a short cut home through the woods which took a turn for the worst. P

You had fell in a hole.

You could hear talking near by, which made you wonder why there were other people in the woods at 3am, but you were thankful.

"Hello! Can you help me?" You shouted, trying not to put pressure on your ankle which you hurt when you fell. You put the torch light on and faced your phone upwards, hoping that they'd see it. "Please!"

You saw two boys step into the light. You felt your breath hitch as you recognised who it was. Brett Talbot and Liam Dunbar. You were quite confused, the last you heard they hated each other. You always had a thing for Liam, but you forgot about your feelings when Liam moved schools. The feelings managed to come flooding back as you looked up at him. You'd never seen him looking so good.

"Y/n?" Liam asked making you shrug slightly.

"Could you help me out?" You asked, trying to sound as sweet as you could. "I-I've hurt my ankle." Liam immediately jumped down beside you into the hole.

"Can you stand on it?" He asked as his hand found it's way to your waist. His blue eyes looking into yours, they were full of worry.

Oh god.

"No, it hurts too much." You answered. Liam nodded and ducked down. He grabbed both of your legs and pulled them back.

"Liam what are you-" You were cut off when you felt his head between your legs and his hands on your knees. He stood up, lifting you up with him on his shoulders.

"Helping you." He answered calmly. He didn't seem to be struggling to lift you or hold your weight which surprised you. Brett put his hand out making you grab it and push up off the wall with your one foot. Brett pulled you up and you let out a breath of relief as he then helped Liam out of the hole.

"Second time tonight you've been in a hole." Brett told Liam, making you furrow your eyebrows.

"What?" You asked, your eyes flickering over Liam. He smiled cutely and shrugged.

"I fell in a hole," He informed you. You couldn't help but smile at how cute Liam was.

"What are you even doing in the woods so late?" Brett asked.

"Oh I usually walk through here after work, it's a short cut. But obviously not tonight. I've been down there hours." You told them.

"Come on, I'll get you home." Liam said as he stepped forward and wrapped his arm around your waist. You wrapped your arm around Liam's neck and hopped along with him.

"You really shouldn't be out in the woods by yourself." He told you. He sounded worried.

"Why? It's just a short cut." You answered.

"No, it's dangerous out here. Trust me." He stated. "What time do you finish working at Starbucks?"

"How do you know where I work?" You asked him.

"I've seen you when I've bought my coffee, you're always too busy to stop and talk though, or even notice me." He said making your mouth drop open.

"Oh my god I'm sorry, it's just that my boss-"

"your boss is a jerk, yeah I know. He doesn't treat you very well, I hate seeing it. On many occasions I've had to leave so I don't jump over that counter and smash his head against it." Liam admitted, his body tensed up as soon as he realised what he had said. "I shouldn't have said that."

You let out a laugh.

"No, it's okay. I like knowing what's going on in that angry head of yours." You laughed as you ruffled his hair.

"How about I walk you home from work from now on and I let you know some more?" He suggested, his blue eyes met yours. You couldn't believe your ears. Or your eyes. Liam Dunbar, your crush for many years wants to walk you home from work. Wow. Now that's an offer you can't refuse.

"I like the sound of that Dunbar," You answered, making the blue eyed boy grin widely.
