"Call them off, Theo." You ordered, standing your ground and staring hopelessly at the boy you thought you knew.
"You're in no position to make demands, y/n." He answered, his green eyes searched yours as an awkward silence filled the room. Theo had just confessed that he's working with The Dread Doctors, confusing you and most of all, angering you. You choked back the tears that threatened to spill from your eyes, well, you tried.
"But they're my friends..." You reminded him as your voice broke, the tears finally fell, making you feel weak and hopeless. "Theo, please," You sounded desperate, which is what you were.
"I can't do anything about it, y/n." He stated, you could tell he was getting annoyed. "I came here for a pack. And that's exactly what I'm going to get."
You took a risky step forward, your whole body shaking with anger.
"I can't believe this." You told him as you shook your head in disbelief.
"What can't you believe?" He asked as he stepped forward too, closing the gap between you. You stared at his white shirt for a few moments before looking into his eyes.
"That you would do this to me." You answered. Your voice small, frail and almost vulnerable. Theo lifted up his hand to touch your face but you pushed his arm away and stepped back. "Don't" You shouted, "Don't you dare touch me!"
"Y/n, i never meant to hurt you! I never meant-" He shouted before he cut himself off, "I never meant to fall in love with you."
You shook your head as you looked at him.
"I," You began but you looked away for a second, gaining courage before looking back into his eyes. "I can't do this, Theo. You are not who I thought you were."
You stepped forwards and walked around him, heading for the door.
"Y/n, what is a king without his queen by his side?" He asked making you stop dead in your tracks and turn around to face him once more.
"Unless you stop whatever it is you're doing, you're never going to be a king. You're never going to have a queen. Theo, you're never going to have me." You informed him, watching a wave of disappointment wash over his face. "Goodbye Theo."
