Barbara was walking home, alone. Again. And it was dark. Again. And it was raining. Again.
Now, walking around Gotham City at night is dangerous enough. When you're the Commissioner's daughter and can't deny it because of your hair? You might as well put a neon glowing sign that says 'Kidnap me!' Above your head.

A hand grabbed Barbara's arm, and pulled her into an alleyway.
Again? She sighed. It'll just be some gang wanting money. I'll break free and I'll kick their- A pale, green haired, red-lipped figure stepped out from the shadows, spinning a cane in one hand, and dressed in a green and violet suit. Scratch that. This may be more serious than I thought.
"The Commissioner's kid? That's the best you could do?" The Joker sighed, then pinched Barbara's cheek hard. "Who am I kidding? This is great!" He laughed. "Chop chop, boys. We have to go!" The clown-faced goons started tying her up. A piece of duct tape covered her mouth, but that was for the best, since she couldn't cry out in surprise when she saw no other than the Boy Wonder emerge from the shadows.

"I'm only going to say this once, Joker." Robin folded his arms. "Untie the pretty girl and put your hands in the air." Flirt much? Barbara thought. Though he is kinda cute.
"Make me, little birdie." Joker cackled. Robin smiled. "We get to do this the fun way. I needed some aggression release." He swung down from a railing and kicked a thug down. Then Robin did a split jump, knocking out two more.
Joker ran at him with a knife, yelling something about turkeys and thanksgiving. He dragged the blade down Robin's chest, and blood spilled down his costume.
"Argh!" He yelled, trying to knock out the Joker. He succeeded, but was clutching his chest as he stumbled over to Barbara. He undid her ropes and ripped off the duct tape.
"Ow!" She screamed. "Thanks." Then she saw his cut. "That looks bad. Can I do anything for you?"
"It's...okay...I'll be fine." Just as Robin said that, he took a sharp breath and collapsed into Barbara's arms. "Maybe I need a little first aid." He admitted.

Barbara propped Robin against a wall, and started to look for something to use as a bandage. She tore off a bit of his cape and pulled his shirt up a bit to bandage it.
Robin looked a lot younger up close, probably only Dick's age. He looked a lot like Dick too, but Barbara knew for a fact that he and Bruce were back at the Manor.
"Thanks." Robin said, standing up. "I should probably go." He didn't actually want to leave though.
"Wait." Barbara put her hand on his back. "Can I see you again?"
"What?"
"Can we...you know...hang out sometime?" She rubbed her toe in the ground, blushing.
"Maybe. Just give me a call next time you get kidnapped." Robin joked. If Barbara knew who he really was, she didn't think she'd be quite a happy.
"Well, as far as kidnappings go, this one's been my favourite. I'm Barbara, by the way." She held out her hand. Robin took it and shook it.
"See you around, Babs." He said.
"See you around, Boy Wonder."
