"Ah, Batman?" Dick asked cautiously. The Dark Knight and his Caped Crusaders stood atop Wayne Tower. "Did you call in some special backup?"
"No-" He saw the two red capes hovering in the air. "Ah, Crap."
"You don't think-" Barbara was interrupted by two sets of lasers narrowly missing the three of them. "Never mind."
"Down! Get to the Bat Bunker!" Bruce pushed Barbara and Dick behind a wall.
"What about you?" She asked, rigging up her batrope.
"I'll be fine."
"We aren't leaving-" Dick grabbed her arm and pulled her off the building.
"We have to get the Kryptonite while Batman distracts them." He explained.
"I knew that." Barbara huffed. "But who's controlling them now?"
"Ivy, probably." He shrugged. Suddenly a huge hand grabbed her cape and pulled her into the air. "Batgirl!"
"This just in." Dick stared at the monitor in the BatBunker. He had found the kryptonite, but froze when he saw what GBS was covering. "Metropolis' heroes, Superman and Supergirl, are holding one of Gotham's own hostage on Wayne Tower. Their demands are still unclear, but the two are thought be in the control of Poison Ivy or Psimon." The screen cut to helicopter footage, of a small caped figure tied to the spike on the building, with about an inch to stand on.
"Babs..." Dick whispered.
"Robin, I'm drawing the supers towards the docks. Rescue Batgirl then wait for me at Gotham Bank." Bruce's voice said in the comm.

"Robin?" Barbara yelled from the tower. Dick was rigging up a bat rope between the spike and the bank he was standing on.
"Just hold on, okay?" He yelled back.
"Not to be pessimistic, but there's not much to hold on to!" Barbara grimaced. "And my foot is kinda slipping, so..." Dick too a deep breath and put on foot on the thin steel rope. About halfway through, he slipped, but grabbed on with one hand, hoisting himself up. "Just keep your eyes on me." She said calmly. "I'm right here. Just keep walking towards me."
When Dick reached the platform, it was so small he practically had to wrap his legs around Barbara to stop falling. But awkward positions were the furthest thing from either vigilante's mind.
"Okay, as soon as I cut the ropes, you have to grab the spike." Dick took out a nagar nag and slashed the rope. They began toppling towards the ground, but Barbara quickly secured herself, as Dick grabbed her foot.
"Am I always saving your ass?" Barbara tried to lighten the mood.
"Says the girl who just-" Suddenly her boot slipped off, and Dick began sailing towards the ground. Barbara shot her rope, and swung down, getting closer to his body.
"I got you!" She swung them both to safety, with a less than graceful landing.
"Thanks."
"Now let's go kick some alien butt."
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Again, sorry about..." Clark motioned to the destruction behind him and Kara. "And for..." He pointed to Wayne Tower.
"Just don't kidnap me again." Barbara narrowed her eyes. "I'm getting tired of saving Robin so much." Dick elbowed her, and she retaliated with a punch. Pretty soon, they had escalated into a full on fight.
"We should probably get back to metropolis..." Kara said, then she and her cousin flew off.
"Batman! Robin's using the bat mobile!" Bruce sighed as he followed the yell.
