WhiteWhisker stared in horror as GreenMeadow ran away, her body engulfed in the trees. Why can't she see pass her parents death and love me? he thought. His fur bristled with anger and what was of his tail lashed out in fury. He remembered it as if it were yesterday. His sister, BlazingSun, killed GreenMeadow's parents. He was so mad. Afterwards, BlazingSun tried to kill her, so he stopped and killed her before it was too late. GreenMeadow had seen too much, and he knew that. But she wouldn't just let go of those memories. He knew she'd never forgive herself for seeing what happened. He ran, following her sweet scent. Her trail led to the barn, and there she was, laying in the hay, staring at a cobweb at the corner of the barn. "You know the cobweb isn't just going to get up and walk away, right?" he purred. "Shut up, mousebrain." she hissed back. His heart sank, he made her worse. GreenMeadow sighed, "WhiteWhisker, I have the same feelings you have for me. But I don't deserve to be with you. You deserve someone better." Does she not realize that she didn't even try to kill anybody? She didn't do anything wrong! "You should be with CloudHeart, not me." she mewed. CloudHeart was a good friend of GreenMeadow, who always tried to cheer her up, she was a white, long haired cat with yellow eyes."Don't ever say that!" he hissed, "I love you, you need to realize that you're the only fish in the lake i'd eat." "Oh wow yeah thanks, sure, eat me instead." she rolled her eyes. "Well not like that!" he replied, trying to hold back a purr. He lay down, resting his muzzle on her head. Slowly GreenMeadow relaxed, and she fell into a steady breathing. Eventually, they both fell asleep.
