~Lily's POV~
I was just leaving Emma's when I got an Instagram notification.

"@mssarahcatharinepaulson liked your photo!" I unlocked my phone to see the picture. I realized it was one from 122 weeks ago of my new puppy and I. I giggled a bit and decided to text Sarah.

-same texts as last time-

It was getting late and I already showered and picked out my outfit for the next day. I decided to listen to some Fleetwood Mac and put on the "Greatest Hits" album. I skipped through to the song "Sara", and sang along to the lyrics.

"Wait a minute baby, stay with me awhile. Said you give me light, but you never told me bout the fire." I got up and lit the candles around my room and continued with the song.

"Drownin' in the sea of love, where everyone would love to drown. But now it's gone. It doesn't matter what for. When you build your house, call me home." I sat on my bed hummed the next part of the song as I got on Instagram. I followed Sarah's account and looked at her pictures. She posted recently of her and a younger black haired man. The caption read "hanging with my fav goofball, love u Zach❤️ thxs for the dinner bby😝" I sighed a bit and continued singing the song.

"Sara, you're the poet in my heart, never change never stop. But now it's gone, it doesn't matter what for, but when you build your house, then call me home." I laid back in bed and stared at the ceiling. I was about to drift off to sleep when my phone went off. I wearily opened my eyes and held my phone above my face.

Emma😍❤️: goodnight Lil, see u at school to tomorrow
Lily🌸: okay, night Em

I leaned over my bed, plugged in my phone and set it on the night stand. I set my alarm to 7:00 am and got out of bed. I stopped my record and then blew out my candles. I took my sleeping pills before I snuggled into bed. I was on the verge of sleep when I heard a soft knock at my door.

"Michael? What do you want?" My little brother opened the door.

"Sorry, I wanted to talk to you about something and you left today. I didn't think you'd be asleep."

"It's fine Mike, come in." He came in and sat on the edge of my bed, I sat up to face him.

"I uh really like Taylor and I wanna tell her but I don't know how..." I looked at Michael with a sympathetic smile.

"Awwh Michael that's adorable! I mean you already made out on the couch so I'm assuming you wanna say you love her?" He nodded quickly and I smiled brightly. "Well, if you love someone, you should always tell them."

"B-But what if she's doesn't like me back?" He asked, looking down at his lap.

"Well, then what's to point of loving her if she doesn't feel the same way. It's better to have know then to have ever asked." I put my hand sympathetically on his shoulder.

"O-Okay Lil, thanks." He got up and left. I began thinking about what I said. It was true but, I wasn't taking my own advice. That's stupid Lily you can't love someone before you even really know them. I mean, what about love at first sight? Lily, you know that's not real. I sighed and moved my pillow next to me, so that I had my arms wrapped around it. I snuggled into and tried my best to finally drift of to sleep

The next morning was slow and uneventful. I got up, and went downstairs to make breakfast. I made bacon and blueberry pancakes. Mom had taught me how to cook when I was 13. I missed her a lot, and tried my best to do things she'd approve of. Before I could get anymore sad, I heard Michaels heavy footsteps coming downstairs.

"Morning Lil." He said, sitting down at the bar.

"Mornin' Mike." I gave him a plate of food and he immediately began eating. I too ate a plate I made for myself. A few minutes of silence passed before I spoke.
