(Duncan's PoV)

"Well, um, okay. So I was wondering if," She sits up to look at me better," you'd like to go...With me?" I mumble out, feeling shy as I'm currently admitting that yes, I liked Courtney and I want to date her.

"Articulate. That would probably make me actually understand what you're trying to say." She replies with a hint of sass in her voice, making me look at her in adoration, a small smile on my face as this was one of the reasons I liked her.

"I wanted to say that I... like you?" I say, my cheeks heating up.

"Well I'd hope so, I mean if you hated me we wouldn't be friends." I scream internally as she is missing out the whole point of what I'm trying to say to her.

"I meant it like, do you want to go out with me?" I explain, but the clueless look still remained on her face.

"Yeah sure, we can totally hang out once they let me out of here. Except that I'll probably be busy some days 'cause I've heard that they're going to put me into therapy. To help control my thoughts and actions." Courtney smiles. I retain myself from face palming as she really is not seeing what I'm trying to tell her.

"Will you open your eyes?!" I shout frustratedly, shutting her up immediately. "Look, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to snap out on you. It's just that what I've been trying to say, and what you've not been realising is that, uh. I was wondering if you would be my, um, girlfriend?" I confess, the pink hue remaking it's way onto my cheeks. A smirk pulls onto her face.

"You know, I actually knew what you were trying to say all along. But it was quite fun to pretend I didn't." She giggles at my unamused expression.

"I hate you so much." I tell her, hiding my face with my hands. She reaches out and moves them off of my face, not loosing eye-contact.

"You have really nice eyes." She compliments me, a tight-lipped smile forms on my face, then releases the stretched muscles a second later. "Yes." She says. I look at her with a confused expression written all over my features. "I'll be your girlfriend. On one condition." She holds a perfectly manicured finger up. I raise my eyebrows (he only has one but let's pretend) up waiting for her to continue. "You get to be my boyfriend."

I smile and lean forward slightly, meshing our lips together for a few seconds. I break away and admire her for a few seconds.

"Definitely."

And that's that. The end of the book. Idk if I should do an epilogue so comment if you want me to and like what to write.

This book actually took me a while because since I'm in year 9(8th grade ew I'm old) they started giving us more hw and shizzle and I was busy all term and only managed to update during half term and summer and Christmas I think I can't remember. So yeah I'm a busy child.

I hope you enjoyed this and I'm gonna start writing a new book cause I've got ideas and plans. No I don't I always make stuff up as I go along and cry cause they suck ok.
