The Pack Adopted me?

Part eleven

Before Mitch could answer, the boy said, "I'm Landon," with a smile. Wowzers, would you look at him. "I-I'm Alanah." I told him, still a bit confused. "I see you met Landon," Preston starts, smiling big. "He's my cousin." He added. "Oh, uh nice to meet you!" I said with a sorta fake smile. "Not to be rude, but, why are you here?" I ask. "He's staying with you for the week." Preston told me with a huge grin. With me? "Maybe you two can hang out together." Mitch suggests. "Well, actually, scratch that, you two will be hanging out with each other." Mitch says. "Yeah, we're going to minecon, and since you didn't really want to come we figured we wouldn't make you stay home alone so we invited Landon to stay with you, because he wasn't too sure about going, anyway." Preston says quite quickly. Wow, I forget all about minecon. I know I had briefly mentioned it to Vikk at one point, so that is true. I didn't want to go to minecon because I wouldn't do much there, anyway. "Oh, that's fine." I state, with a more natural smile. This'll be fun. Besides, he is hella cute, I think it'll work out. It'll be a lot more fun than being home alone this week.

They all walk to different areas, Preston showing Landon around and Mitch eating some weird dip. "So, you and Landy, huh?" Vikk teases, wiggling his eyebrows. When did he get there? I ask myself. "Whatever." I say. "And just by the way, Vikk, you were right, I'm not 'in love with you'." I tell him, making hand quotations at the 'in love with you' part, giggling a little. Truth is, I don't know how I feel about him. I mean, that one night when he was um.. Drunk did make me feel some type of way. I just can't put my finger on it. He just stands there in slight shock, blushing a little of embarrassment and scratching his neck, he didn't know that I actually heard them. But, I was only up the stairs, Anybody could've heard them from a mile away. I'm still not sure about why they would care, but I just walk upstairs and get ready for today.

SHORT CHAPTER, I KNOW. I'm really sorry :/ I've been busy today and this was all I could get out. I'll update soon, I promise it'll be longer :-) bye bye for now!
