New Girl

Chapter 6

I just stared at him because my body was frozen. "Um..Do you want your book?" Mrs. Wales said.

I got out of my frozen state and looked at her. "Yeah," I said quickly grabbing the book before Will noticed, but I was to late.

"Ally!" I heard him say. Crap, I wasn't ready for him yet. I don't even know what to say! I turned around with a fake smile on my face and decided to wing it.

"Will,funny seeing you here..." I said lamely. He laughed. Thank god! "Yeah, I help out in the mornings. It's kind of fun actually."

I laughed. "I guess it will be if all you do is put books away." He laughed. "I guess. Want to walk with me to Geometry?"

Omg!I so badly wanted to scream yes, but calmly just said "Sure." "Okay, hold up and let me get my things."

 I waited for him outside and after he got his bag we made our way toward math. My whole body was twitching and I was getting nervous, but Will seemed calm.

"So....I saw you on the track field yesterday and you were great.Did you play before? I...umm.also  told Samuel to say hi since he knew you." "

I blushed at how cutely Will just said that. "Yeah, he told me," I replied. "I use to a few years ago but I stopped because I got tired of it. 

"How could you get tired of something you love? I had to leave early so I told him. He is like my best friend. New him since I was a kid."

I never stopped loving running I just didn't want to lose myself in it again but not like I was telling him that.  "Um....things just happen. Soo.... you lived in Kentucky all your life?"

I said trying to change the subject. "Yeah.But I have gone to New York and stuff." Now I was impressed. "Really ? For what ?" Will looked nervous for a second.

"Ummm...chour." Aww. He was sensitive! Plus  he sings! "Really! That's amazing. I had to change my schedule to chorus/piano yesterday. So I have it during 3rd." Will looked happy.

"Really I have it during 3rd too."  This was fate! "So I guess I'll be seeing you then?" I replied because we reached class. " I guess," he said as we made our way to our seats.

Sadly I couldn't sit next to him cause they already had assign seat. So I took my place in the front of the class and daydreamed about Will.

Ring Ring. Finally, second period was over!I hated language arts, and I really wanted to see Will. I literally fast ran to the chorus room so I could get there early but then someone called my name.

"Ally!" Crap.I turned around and saw that it was Jasmine. "Hi!"   said  trying to be as sweet as possible because I really wanted to leave.

"Why are you so in a rush?" she asked. "Umm got my  schedule change to piano /chorus so  I don't want to be late," I said making up some kind of excuses.  "Well, I am on my way there know. Come on we will go there together." She grabbed my hand I was literally being dragged by her. When we finally reached the room Will was already there and we had to sit farther away from him.

"Know I see why you wanted to come here so fast..." Jasmine said winking at me. I blushed. "Ssshhhh," I said cause the teacher already walked in.  

"Welcome class." "Good morning, Mr. Green, " we all  said in unison. "Good, now today we are going to focus on the piano, so everyone follows me to the keyboard room."

Everyone grabbed their bag and we followed him. Jasmine was with me and I tried to get closer to Will but he was too far ahead of me.

I could hear Jasmine laugh and I just gave up. If he wanted to talk to me he would come talk to me.

"Soo is the teacher nice?" I asked Jasmine trying to make conversation. "Somewhat, if your good at either singing or playing the piano." Damn. I was screwed.
