Chapter 17

 "Ally, are you going to this party with Natalie?" I heard mom as she walked into my room. For a second she was stunned cause it was neat and I had just enough time to slip the letter underneath my bed.

"Yeah..is that a problem? I was going to tell you!" Mom and I had this trust policy and I thought she would be totally cool with me going but now..something was off.

"Well I am sorry but you can't go." I could feel the angry burn inside me. "Why not?" I said giving her an attitude. Then she said the 4 words most parents say. "Because I said so!" and then she stormed off.

 No way. Mom can't keep from going to this. I got my phone and dialed Anne number while making my way to my closet.

"Hello." I heard on the line. "Hi, Anne. Change of plans. I will meet you guys there. Just pick up Natalie."I said as I grabbed a  pair of jeans.

"Are you sure?" I could hear it in her voice that she was disappointed and I so badly wanted to take it back but I shook that feeling away. I had to get to the bottom of this.

"Yeah, I will give you Natalie number." "Okay then," Anne  replied. I gave Anne Natalie number as I put on my jeans and my tank. 

"Thank you! See you there!" and I hung up before she could say anything. I tied my hair into a high, tight ponytail and put my leather jacket on. I stopped for a second to hear where mom was but the water was running  so most likely she was in the shower.

  I tiptoed out of my room and through the house. When I was out of the house I ran to the garage and got out the bike. I put on the helmet and sat down

I dragged it out toward the driveways when I heard mom. "Ally Sane you come back here right now!!!" My answer? I turned on the engine and drove off.

I turned into Witchburn Avenue. Will house should be here.....(I kind of left the directions,besides Hanna wrote it,can you really trust her? )..then I saw it.

The house with a lot  of  teenagers and the music blasting. I cut off the engine and hid the bike in the bushes at the house before his and walked the rest of the way

I had to find this guy in the jade coat. First of all, who would wears jade???I thought as I made my way  to the front door.

I  thought there weren't  going to be a lot of people. Just kids from our school but when I opened the door boy was I wrong. The whole house was filled with bodies. I groaned. How am I suppose to find anyone!

I grabbed a drink and began with the living room. The music was so loud I had to cover my ears and had to block the couples making out. Plus people were playing beer pong so I was getting splashed so quickly scanned the room for the stranger in jade but didn't see them.  

 I made my way to the next room but nothing. It was hopeless. I was about to go back out by the front door when I saw Anne, Hailey ,Jasmine, and Natalie. "ALLY!" Natalie yelled above the music. I nodded my head and made my way to them.

Just as I was about to reach them in the corner of my eye I saw..jade!! The guy was going out the back! "I GOT TO GO!" I yelled and was just about to turn around when something cold and firm held my hand. It was Natalie.

"Where you going?" she said sweetly. Anne, Hailey, and Jasmine seemed to have already left and Natalie was just there smiling. "OUTSIDE!" I said yelling above the music. "GREAT I'LL COME WITH YOU!" She began dragging me.

I don't want her coming with me.I need to get rid of her, I stopped. "I HAVE TO GO TO THE BATHROOM!" I said. Natalie  turned around. "OKAY,I'll WAIT." I nodded my head and headed upstairs.

Something seemed off about her. She would never wait for me.I  waited at the  top of the stairs to see if she will leave but she was still there. Now I had to find a way out....Just then a guy came up to Natalie. She was definitely distracted  and I pounded down the stairs.

"ALLY!" I heard her. "EXCUSE ME,EXCUSE ME!" I said as I pushed my way through the crowd. She was following  me. I quickly made my way out to the room and was outside. I took a breath..

Then I saw him. He was sitting  by the lilies. (ironic much?)I fast walked to him so Natalie wouldn't catch up..I was preparing not to look scared but I was scared as hell.

I tapped him on his shoulder and he turned around. I don't know how my face looked but it must have been a mixture of shock and relief. The guy in the jade coat was Will.
