He was staring at the ceiling for the longest time. May gumagapang na kung ano sa kalamnan niya, dahil siguro nagiging demonyo na siya ng tuluyan. His anger made him a mad man.
"K-kuya" Tom was on his door. He knew, and he did not like what happened.
"Stop. Don't tell me i did something wrong" panguna nito
"Pero kuya! Kapatid ko pa din siya!"
"kapatid na kaya kang patayin without even blinking! Tom! I am all you need! We need this! i need to fucking kill everyone!"
"you are not a monster!" tumayo na siya sa kama at tinapatan ito, he love Tom as his brother. Sila lang ang nagdamayan noon.
"I am! Don't you remember?" he sighed "...i'm a psychopath Tom"
"but that was just words, Kuya. Please"
he tapped his shoulder, signalling him that he's ending their conversation. "i like...being a psychopath"
Pumasok siya sa isang silid kung saan kitang kita nya si Avery na nakabaluktot sa kama habang umiiyak. He like misery because he grew up with that. Noong bata pa sila ni Tom, he has annual appointments with a shrink Ms. Belleford dahil nawitness niya ang pagpatay sa kanyang mga magulang. She wasn't treating him, she was molding him to be a monster she is too. She saw a glimpse of darkness in me and brought them out.
Nagising na si Avery, madilim ang aura ng mukha nito habang dahan dahan ibinabangon ang sarili. Her body must've ache so bad. He'll mold her too. She will be his greatest revenge. Habang pinaglalamayan ang pekeng bangkay niya, he'll destroy the real one.
Mabilis pinahid ni Avery ang lgaw na luhang tumakas sa mga mata niya. Walang laman ang isip niya kundi ang kanyang nobyo. Hindi na siya deserving para sa lalaki, now she regret rejecting his proposal. Si Dale lamang ang kaisa isang genuine na tao sa buhay niya. He was that constant part of her life. She knew his love was true, not as strong as his desire to politics but atleast there's someone who has feelings for her. Noong mga panahong hirap na hirap siya sa puder ng ama ay si Dale ang takbuhan niya. She loves it when Dale visits his Dad's house, she felt safe dahil hindi siya masasaktan ng ama sa harapan nito. She's better off dead than see him with her disgusting new self.
She was staring at the sky when she was grabbed, causing her to fall on her knees. Devon was darkly staring at her, his aura was mocking her.
"do you want to kill me?"
her eyes ignite fire "yes" she answered
"kung ganoon kailangan mo akong matalo"
hinila siya nito palabas ng bahay, Tom looked worried while watching her. Dinala siya sa backyard ni Devon sa gitna ng mataas na araw. She knew what he wanted, he wanted her to fight--of course he knew her. She knew taekwondo and jujitsu.
But she was weak, he started to attack her and she was blown on the ground. "Stand up" utos nito but she was too weak, hindi siya makatayo. He grabbed her wrist at sapilitan siyang hinila patayo, bumagsak sya ng bahagya sa dibdib nito sa panghihina. "How can you kill me if you're a limping loser?" bulong nito sa kanya
He did not know how she wanted to kill him, lalo saganoong kalapit. Leaning to him almost made her puke. Her spirit may be on fire but her body rejected it "ma..mapapatay din kita" puno ng poot nitong tugon sa lalaki. He froze at her stare, it was full of hatred, just like how he see his eyes on the mirror, alam na alam niya ang ganoong mga titig. Sa pagiisip niya ay hindi na niya nasalo pa ito ng mawalan ng malay.
"i told you to stop! nagmamakaawa na ako! kapatid ko pa din siya!" pagmamakaawa ni Tom habang buhat ang walang malay na si Avery
"i'm sorry" ito lamang ang naisagot niya
Avery is not innocent at all, Tom was clinging to the fact that she's a blood family. Tom treasures his family, kahit gaano pa kasama ang gawin nito sa kanya.
Gen. Pamintuan murdered his family cold blooded. He was there, he made the young Devon watch his mom being raped and his father hanged. He was not an exemption, he took a bullet galing mismo kay Pamintuan. He did a monstrous thing to his family because his dad testified with the illegal business he did. He thought he was dead.

They chased us in the forest, Pamintuan was in the jeep with Avery. She saw everything, even when he tried to shoot us. I got myself safe dahil hindi nila ako kilala but Tom and Linda took bullets from him. Katulad ko, nakaligtas si Tom. I will never forget the look on Avery's face when she saw Tom covered with blood. Just like me, blood excites her.
Ilang araw hindi nagpakita si DEvon sa dalaga, he let her heal her wounds sa tulong ni Tom. Hindi ito nagsasalita, she was always on the corner of the bed nakatingin sa binatana. Two weeks is his limit, binihisan niya ito at isinakay sa kotse niya. Tahimik lamang ito, cautious but she's behaving herself.
"are you letting me go?" tanogn nito ng i-park niya ang sasakyan sa madilim na bahagi ng subdivision.
"no. but i need you to do something for me"
inaral nito ang kayang mukha, tinatancha ang bigat ng bagay na gusto niyang ipagawa
"what do i have in return?"
he grinned. she's negotiating. "i'll let you fiance live" he grinned wider when she pursed her lips.
"leave. him. alone. kill me instead!"
"not yet. where's the fun in that?"
