The Sister

My fists tightened. I knew that voice better than anyone else's. Even my handsome Lockwood's. Wait. WHAT?! I can't think like that. He's my boss. He IS cute though. FOCUS! I let my gaze fix onto the figure again. And Jiska stepped out of the dark.

I growl lowly and take a step forward, putting myself between the crowd and her. She smiles.

"Now sister dear aren't you going to introduce me?" Jiska asks as she sweetly tilts her head. I snarl.

"Nope. Now back off." Jiska grins.

"Ohhhhhhhh! Have I touched a nerve? Don't tell me you haven't told them yet?" I growl again.

"Lucy?" Someone calls my name. I look up and my heart stops. It's really them. It was Lily and Max I was smelling.

It's gonna be okay you two. Sit tight." I turn back to Jiska. "I can beat her" Jiska grins wider.

"Bold words for someone who doesn't exactly have a winning record sister dear." Jiska drops the smile and takes a step forward. I snarl again as she gets closer.

"Everyone run. Get to the bridge." I point over Jiska's shoulder at the bridge that spans the Thames. I glance back and I can see Lockwood and ushering people back to the bridge. Smart and attractive boy. Good combo.

"OH MY GOD LUCY FOCUS!!!" Great. Exactly what I need right now.

"I'm sorry! Now do we kill her or do we make her leave once we beat her?"

"Now don't you sound positive. We're going to kill her. It's the only way to make it stop for good" Larka says it so fast I almost don't catch it. Guess Jiska make her nervous too.

"Alright let's do it Larka." I break the connection. I look back and see that Kipps and his team are still here along with Lockwood, George, Holly and Barnes. Lovely.

"Their going to find out Lucy. Why not just tell them and make it easy?" Jiska is a bit to close for comfort but instead of getting defensive I pull my dress up and over my head and let it drop to the ground. I pull off my leggings next never letting my eyes stray from Jiska's face. I pulled my hair up next. Then I took a deep breath and turn around to face them. I lock eyes with Lockwood.

"I'm a werewolf. That's the big secret. I morph whenever I want to and I can hear the voice of my wolf in my head. Thats the big secret." I sound so hostile. "I'm being hunted by my crazy homacidal sister who has my younger brother and sister and I have the necklace that give the person who claims it weird powers." I scan them.

Their expressions vary. Holly looks worried, George, Kipps and his team look shocked, Barnes looks like he's about to faint. But it was Lockwood's face that hurt the most. Disgust. Disgust and horror. I feel my eyes well up. No I can't cry. Not now. I turn back to Jiska.

"Happy?" I spit it out like it's poisonous. "I suggest you run. This is gong to get messy." I hear them run off to the bridge. Probably to get a better view. I look at the bridge and see what looks like everyone in London on that bridge. I glance up at the roof and see Lily and Max have made their escape. "I point to the bridge. "Shall we give them a show?" I ask. Jiska nods.

"Let's."

And we both lunge
