I boarded the plane with ease. Not only physically but emotionally as well. Everything seemed to be going well. For the first time in a very long time I was excited to do something, something that was for me. I sat down in the middle of the plane, next to the window of course. The last time I had been on a plane I was about 8 or 9 and I couldn't recall the feeling of when the plane first takes off or the thrill of seeing so many people, so many buildings, looking like ants. I sat in my seat impatiently. Suddenly I was little again and this plane ride was like my candy. It made me so jumpy, so excited, I couldn't get enough. Just as I found myself literally jumping up and down, a boy came and sat next to me. He looked about my age, maybe even a little older. To say the least, he was gorgeous and I was quite surprised when I realized he had picked this seat over every other one on this massive plane.
"Is this seat taken?" He pointed to the one right next to me and I could feel all of the butterflies being released in my stomach. I shook my head and gave him a little smile. Enough for him to know that I was being friendly but not flirty.
"Good" he said as he planted his butt. "My names Tyler." He reached out his hand for a formal introduction.
"My names Sophie." I spoke back shyly.
"Sophie," He grinned "I like that name. Sounds like you're so innocent."
"Well thank you." I let out a little chuckle. "But I can guarantee you, I'm not so innocent."
"Oh you're not are you?" He said letting his smile grow just a little bigger. "And why is that?"
"Wow Tyler, I just met you. I'm not telling you my entire life story!" I said being a little taken back. I just met this kid no more than a minute ago and he already wants me to tell him about myself. I guess it's my fault for saying I'm not innocent but that is not an excuse. But hey, I'm leaving my old life behind me and starting a new one. If he wants to know something, I'll tell him. But we're gonna have to make this a little interesting first.
"Okay, you know what. I'll tell you." I said. Tyler's eyes grew wide and I'm guessing he was a little surprised that I had agreed to do this.
"On one condition." I spoke again. Tyler nodded his head like he wanted me to continue. "We tell each other everything in the form of Never Have I Ever deal?" I stuck out my hand, ready for it to be shook.
He nodded his head back and forth slowly as if he was thinking of all the possible things that could go wrong. "Deal." He said as his hand firmly grasped mine.
An hour later, Tyler and I had laughed so many times I had lost count. So many people have complained to the flight attendant that we were making too much noise but that didn't stop us from having fun.
"Okay okay my turn." I said in between laughs. "Never have I ever...had sex on school grounds." I watched as Tyler slowly put one of his fingers down and scratched the back of his neck, embarrassed. My mouth fell open leaving a huge gap between my upper lip and my chin.
"You are SUCH a man slut!" I said playfully slapping him across the arm.
"Yeah because doing phone sex doesn't make you a slut at all!" He said kidding around. His voice was a little too loud which led to me violently slapping his arm again.
"Shut up! I don't think they heard you. BACK IN CANADA." I said both angrily and at the same time, laughing.
"Yeah yeah whatever. It's my turn now." Tyler thought long and hard before he came up with something. We were both down to one finger and everyone knows that if you lose in Never Have I Ever it means you have to do something since you lost.
