Sophie's POV

I stood there, practically naked; nothing covering me except the green fuzzy towel that hung just above my knees. My hair was sopping wet and to be honest I think it was the little water droplets hitting the floor that broke the frozen position I was in. Did Justin just say he likes me? Me? It couldn't have been true. I was imagining this right? I shook the thought out of my head. I began to walk into Justin's room where my luggage and clothes lay scattered across his hardwood floor. I put myself in a sun dress quickly, not wanting any of the boys to walk in on me. After I was completely ready, I jogged my way down the stairs and noticed Justin's expression when I arrived. There was something different about the way he looked at me and when he looked at everything else. He didn't look at me like I was that girl he grew up with, he looked at me like I was the only thing in the room that mattered. His locked gaze made me blush and for some reason made my stomach have this warm fuzzy feeling I've never experienced before.

I brushed it off and sat next to Ryan and Chaz on the couch. To be quite honest, I wanted to avoid Justin at all costs. If he really did like me, and we started to date, and then we broke up, I don't know what I would do. Justin is my rock, he helps me survive everything.

"So guys, where do you wanna go?" I said trying to dodge Justin's eye contact.

"How about Applebees?" Ryan suggested. Applebees was always Ryan's go to place.

"That's fine with me. Is that okay with everyone else?" Justin said as he scanned his living room area. When no one objected he rubbed his hands together and said, "Good, I'll go make some calls." And then he was gone.

I took this oppurtunity to ask Ryan and Chaz about what I had heard earlier this morning. "Uh, guys. I really need to ask you something. And it would be really great if Justin didn't know about it." My hands were starting to shake and I bit my lip waiting for their answer.

They exchanged looks. And not a look like 'yeah okay' a look like 'shit, we're in trouble'. They nodded their heads slowly and we all walked out of Justin's front door together.

"So, what's this about?" Ryan said squinting one eye as if the sun was too bright for both of his eyes to handle.

"Well this morning after I got out of the shower, I heard you guys talking and I heard my name so I stopped to see what you guys were talking about and now I'm thinking that I shouldn't have stayed."

"And why is that?" Ryan continued.

"Because I heard you guys teasing Justin because he likes me." I said chewing on my bottom lip.

"We never even said anything like that..." Chaz said confused.

"Are you sure? Because I was standing at the top of the stairs and I heard my name with kissing noises and stuff like 'please let me kiss you' and I don't know it doesn't not make sense." I was getting really confused. I had clearly heard my name and things associated with dating Justin. Why was Ryan and Chaz hiding this from me? I get that they are Justin's best friends but they are mine too.

"Yeah were sure Soph. We weren't talking about you. Maybe you just heard us wrong or something." Chaz said obviously trying to hide something. Chaz was never good at hiding secrets from people. And if you pushed at him, he eventually broke. It was something that I had learned over the course of our friendship and I always used it to my advantage.

"Okay, I guess you're right. Maybe I just thought I heard my name or something I don't know." I said and started to laugh. "Well this is emabarrassing." I spoke continuing my sentence.

"No worries. And we won't let Justin know about this so it's all good." Ryan said giving me a pat on the shoulder as he left the front yard and went back into Justin's house. Chaz did the same thing and followed Ryan back into Justin's. I sighed loudly and strong enough to blow my bangs up off of my fore head. I walked my way back into the house and laid down on Justin's couch. I tried to fall asleep while everyone spoke in the kitchen.
