Chapter 2

- your POV -

You dropped your book down a bit as You silently watched the bickering twins walk down the stairs. "Hey, (y/n)... Umm.. I'm really, really sorry. I didn't know you had social anxiety" Mabel said, a sad tone lingering her words as she shuffled her feet while looking down. "It's not your fault, don't worry about it" you said, smiling and putting the book down. As soon as you said that sentence she brightened up and gave you a hug. "I might as well show you guys around now" you muttered.
- time skip after showing around -
"And as you guys know, that's your bedroom" you said."thanks (y/n)!" "Yeah, thanks (y/n)" you heard dipper mutter. This is the literate first time he said something around you, and omg.. His voice is so adorable. "Meh.. The least I can do" you grinned. *noragami intro music starts playing* you looked down at your phone, your mum was calling you! "Uh.. I really need to take this call. Be right back" you said, walking downstairs and outside. "Darling, you will have to stay at the mystery shack for a while. I've already talked to Stan" your mum said once you picked up. "Why? What's wrong?" "Just... Well I'll talk to you about it later. Stan is on his way to get your stuff, we've packed your suitcases" you could hear shuffling, and a car horn. "Oh, that's Stan now, love you Hun! Be good!" You mum exclaimed. "Love you too" you replied, hanging up. "Argh, God dammit!" You groaned, plonking down in the steps and resting your head in your hands. "This is just great! Once he's back and I've set up, I'm just gonna go to my special tree and relax... This is just a load of bull" you muttered, grumbling away. "H-hey, you alright (y-y/n)?" You jumped at the sound of dippers voice. "Yeah.. I'll be staying for a while. Something has happened at home" you replied, feeling like crying. Dipper sat down next to you and looked at you sympatheticly. He comfortably rubbed your back, as you tried not to cry. "I don't even know what happened" you said, a tear starting to appear. "I don't  even know what's going on at home!" Your voiced raised a bit, pitching higher. "(Y/N), take some deep breaths" dipper said, trying to calm you down. You inhaled, and exhaled deeply. It was working.. "Thank you" you said. "No problem" dipper said. Stans' car pulled up right outside, he got out and started grabbing your suitcases, you and dipper joined in, taking it up to the spare room that once was sooss' break room. "How *puff* much stuff *huff* do you have?" Dipper exclaimed. "They're mostly books, and technology. I'm not that much into fashion!" You giggled, finally getting the last suitcase upstairs. You unpacked, already feeling quite at home.

You grabbed your phone and book, running off into the forest to the most secretive place. This place was a safe place to you, it was relaxing, warm and hidden. You always went here when you either needed spaces, was stressed or just plain felt the need too. You made it to the exact bush, pushing through to find your spot. The beautiful tree, with the swing. The grass all around and many flowers. Surrounded by bush and the sun glimmering down. Sometimes you met fairies here, that's what made it so special. You smiled brightly, sitting on the swing and started to play 'beings - madeon' it's one of your favourite songs. You started to read, engrossed by the book.
