The look of curiosity sat in Mabel's face, as she asked how and why. "Well... It wasn't easy. Gideon and I were once very close best friends. Until one day I noticed how much he wanted to be alone. I thought it was a boy thing but... I soon realised how controlling, manipulating he was, how much he was reading this journal. I snuck it off him during school, but that ended up with me getting this scar" you lifted your t-shirt a bit, a scar running across the side of you hip "I managed to take it away a month later... He still hasn't realised that I took it. Ever since then we've barely talked to each other..." Your words trailed off to an end, you didn't realise you were crying until Mabel hugged you tightly.

- dippers POV -

I never realised how much she cares for people. I never realised she went through that just to save Gideon from himself and get the old him back... 'No wonder she's so un-social and anxious, she's scared that she will be back-stabbed or betrayed again' I watched Mabel hug her as tears freely rolled down her face. I wanted to reach out and hug her. But... I know she didn't trust me, after all... She only just met me. I heard her mutter a soft 'this is embarrassing' but Mabel didn't care, I walked back up the stairs, feeling like I was intruding.

- your POV -

"Why don't we go hangout with my friends, I bet they'd love you" Mabel exclaimed while helping you up. "s-sounds like a g-great I-dea Mabel" you stuttered, gripping Mabels' shoulder as you steadied yourself. She grabbed your hand and dragged you outside, spotting a short black haired girl minutes later. "Candy!!" She yelled, running up to her. "Mabel! Hey- w-who is she?" Candy pointed at you, as you looked at the ground slightly nervous. "Oh, this is (y/n)!" Mabel exclaimed, pushing you forward. "H-hi" you stuttered, rubbing the back of your neck while looking at the ground. You swiftly turned around, and stood behind Mabel. "Don't worry, she's just socially anxious" mabel whispered to candy. "Oh.." Candy whispered back. "(Y/N), would you like to go shopping with us?" Candy asked nicely, fumbling with her glasses. "S-sure" you stayed behind Mabel the entire time, nervously chewing your bottom lip. You weren't sure if you were capable of shopping, you always had a mini anxiety attack. As you guys grew near, candy ran over to a taller, more masculine female. "CANDY!! MABEL!" The female yelled, with a definite bold masculine voice. "Who is this?!" The brown haired female yelled, picking you up into a hug. You yelped, trying to get her to let go. You could feel your heart pounding, your control for your breathing slipping away. Mabel obvious noticed and scrambled to get the female to let you go. "Grenda, let her go!" Candy said, worriedly. "O-okay, is she alright?" 'Grenda' asked. You hid behind Mabel, soft whimpers leaving your mouth as you tried to fully control your breathing once again. As candy explained what was wrong, Mabel tried helping you, hugging you and telling you to take deep breaths. "Sorry, (y/n), I didn't realise you had social anxiety. I'm grenda" grenda said, rubbing your back. "It's alright... Is it time to go shopping?" You mumbled, finally breathing normally.
