Chapter 12

Luke's p.o.v 

Today was the day of my fight. Autumn said she wasn't sure if she was going to come. I can't blame her. I've stayed over at her house almost every night with her. I need to ask Kemi if she will ask Autumn if she likes me. I hope she does. I'm in love with her.  "Hey sis can you do me a favor?" I ask. "Depends on what it is?" She says. "Can you poke around and see if Autumn likes me or not?" I ask. She smiles and then laughs. "Damn are you that clueless?" She asks. I look her. "Of course she likes you otherwise you wouldn't have taken her to homecoming or cuddling with her," She tells me slapping the back of my head.  I shake my head and get ready to go to the gym. I was warming up with Austin.  "Luke wait," A soft voice says. I stop and turn around. "Good Luck tonight, I might come yet but if I don't good luck," Autumn says. "Thanks hun," I tell her. I was getting ready to turn away when a pair of soft lips plant themselves on mine. She pulls away. "What was that for?" I ask smiling. "It's a good luck kiss," She tells me walking back into her house. 

***Warm ups and the fight****

"Austin man I need to tell you something," I tell him. "Yeah what's up?" He asks. "Autumn Kissed me before I came here," I tell him. "Oh?" He says. "Yeah, I just wanted to tell you so I didn't have to feel guity," I tell him. "She kissed you mate not the other way around," He tells me. We finish warming up and then it was fight time. 

Autumn's p.o.v

I was over at Kemi's getting ready to watch Luke's fight. I keep thinking about the kiss. I liked it a lot. "Kem?" I ask. "Yeah," She replies. "I think I like Luke," I tell her. "What do you mean you think?" She asks. "Well I kissed him before he left and now I keep thinking about it and I really liked it," I tell her. I see her smirk a little bit. "You and Luke would be the cutest couple ever," She says squeling like a a school girl. "And tonight we have Luke versus Sam," The announcer announces. I watch as Luke comes out with no shirt on. He walks over to the announcer. "This fight isn't for me to me. I'm going to win for my friend Autumn who got stabbed by him," He tells the audience and walks to the ring.  Jake runs into Kemi's living room with a red face. "Where did he stab you," He yells. I slowly lift my shirt up. I see his face pale. "Why?" He asks. "I won our fight and he was mad. He had two of his friends hold me down and cut me," I tell him.  "Round 1 is over" The announcer says. "Kemi get me to that arena now," I tell her. We run outside. 

*At the arena*

I run into the back to see Luke before round two. "Luke," I yell. HE turns his head. "Listen to me the only way you will win is if you get him to the floor and get on top of him," I tell him. "You sure?" He asks. "Yes. I wouldn't put you in danger," I tell him holding his face. He nods. "Fighters return to the ring," The announcer yells. "Luke I'll go out there and stand outside the ring with Austin okay," I tell him. He nods and returns to the ring. "You know even that might not let him win," Austin said. I nod. "But I have a way to get him angry," I tell Austin. I see Luke look at me. I lift my shirt so he can see the scar. The bell dings and he goes straight for Sam. *Bam* I see a body fall limp to the ground. "K.O," The announcer yells. Luke had won the fight. "I jump into the ring and hug him. "Go on a date with me tomorrow?" Luke asks. "Of course," I tell him. He hugs me back.
