(Shadow's pov) 

Once we got home I was greeted with the never ending worries and scolding of my family. It was quite annoying. When Cee saw me at the gate he nearly fainted from worry. When Bee-sensei saw me he just stared before releasing an angry flow of rap.

Last was the Raikage. Now that was a mistake. The Raikage's body was covered by raging chakara and electricity before throwing his desk out of the office and creating a crater in the middle of the floor. 

He was, at the time, determine to kill Gaara, but with some coaxing from me and the others - he instantly calmed down. So now I stood in the middle of his office, rubbing the back of my neck and looking at him skeptically. 

"Your anger has gotten worse since I left Raikage-sama." I noted. In response, he released a grunt before settling in his chair with a new desk placed in front of him. 

Cee stood beside me while Darui stood behind the Raikage. 

"This is unacceptable! How could the Hokage allow this-"

"The Hokage was being murdered at the time," I cut in with an emotionless expression, "there was nothing he could do. As for the Kazekage's kid, he simply had no control over the tail beast. If I'm not angered by this then you shouldn't be either Raikage." 

"How can you not be!" This time it was Cee who broke character. He looked at me in total disbelief. "Who knows what he could've done to you!! He could've killed you!"

"Cee!" 

Cee released a slight gasp before slowly turning back to the Raikage. "Yelling about the past to Shadow will not help bring her eye back." 

Cee looked down at the ground with what seemed to be regret. His fists tightened until his knuckles turned white. "Shadow....welcome back..." The Raikage said to me stiffly. I knew he was having trouble restraining himself from destroying the Sand and Leaf by his tone.

I gave a nod of appreciation for that before turning around and walking out with Cee beside me. We walked out of the Raikage building in total silence. It was a tense silence. I played with my bandanna to help calm myself.
