Shadow's battle

(Shadow's pov)

Its been 4 days already and we were all moving on to the Preliminary rounds. Team 7 made it in one piece but man they looked beat up. When we were all about to go to the top platform team 7 came up to me.

 "HEY SHADOW-CHAN!!! Sakura-chan told us what you did, thanks!"Naruto said with a sheepish grin. Sakura smiled at me and Sasuke hesitantly nodded then looked away.

I smirked while putting my hand on my hip.

 "Don't think that this makes us friends or anything, I still hate you guys. I just wanted to be the ones to take yu down." I smirked challengingly. Naruto and Sasuke got a challenging smirk  as well and Sakura smiled at me still.

"I'll be the one to beat you believe it!" Naruto said as he put his fist up. Sasuke sent me a mental message saying that he'd be the one to defeat me. I let out a short laugh with my eyes closed. 

"Well then-" I started off seriously as I opened my eyes. "I'll be waiting." They all nodded and I walked away. "What's up with you getting friendly with Konoha nins?" Kurai asked as she looked over to Team 7.

I looked at them then smirked. "They're not my friends nor am I theirs...we simply respect each other as foes." I answered.She looked over to me at me in understanding. "What do you mean?"Omi asked stupidly. 

I punched him in the stomach lightly. He doubled over then inced as he glared at me. "Don't worry about it ." I said dismissively as I walked up the steps with the 2 following me.

We were waiting for our battle. Kurai had won hers against a grass nin, who wasn't Orochimaru. Omi won his against a boy from of here in Konoha. All of Team 7's boys passed. Sakura didn't.  Finally it was my turn, I was against another Rain nin who had failed this test like 3 times I heard.

"Go get em' Shadow!" Omi said as he cheered me. I didn't pay much mind to him. 

I walked to the railing then jumped down with my hands in my pocket. When I fell on the ground a huge crater was created under my feet. I sighed and walked over to the protractor. The guy, known as Sora, was smirking at me. The protractor looked at both of us.

"Are you ready?" he asked. We nodded simultaneously. He coughed then put his hands up. "Start.." he said.

Me and Sora separated from each other. "I really don't want to mess up your face. How bout you give up and I'll take you to dinner." he smirked seductively. I scowled.
