"Oh. My. God. Are you serious?"

"Seriously serious. I talked to Darren this morning," I said. It was Sunday, and Natalie had just gotten home from work, around 5. I was glad she had decided not to go out to party that night, because her expression was priceless, "We are going to see Starship opening night this Friday!"

I thought Natalie was going to pass out. Her blue eyes were big, and her smile was widening by the second.

"This is fucking amazing!" she exclaimed, throwing her arms around me and jumping up and down, "No, it's totally awesome!" I laughed. I kind of wanted to tell her about all of mine and Darren's conversation, but to be honest, I didn't know how to make of it myself. Darren had no reason to be jealous of anyone, let alone Joey. Hell, I had only met them. I tried to head Natalie's warning about my feelings for Darren, it was difficult. I just wish he would've given me a chance to explain myself.

"Now, since we are going to see this show-"

"You need to watch all of the StarKid plays!" Natalie squealed excitedly, finishing my sentence for me. We actually did that often. It was weird. But hey, when you're friends with someone for over a decade, your minds some times meld together.

"Yes," I said, "So how long will that take?"

"Well...about 6 hours."

"Ok...how about we just stick with one today?" I said. A devilish smile spread across Natalie's face.

"Oh, I know exactly which play we are going to watch."

-oOo-

"The name of the play is 'Me And My Dick?'"

"Oh hush and get over yourself. It's really good!"

-oOo-

"Wow, Jaime looks different. And is that Cho Chang?"

"Yup."

"Does she have a Southern accent in every show?"

"Yup."

-oOo-

"Oh my god. Brian as a vagina. What the hell is this."

"Only the best thing ever!"

-oOo-

"His dick left him? How is that even possible?"

"Shh! This is when A.J. comes in!"

"Who?"

"The piano player."

"Ohhhh."

-oOo-

"Yes Joey, throw chocolate in a girl's face. That'll surely make her like you."

"He's just listening to his heart!"

"He's an idiot."

-oOo-

"Aw Sally! That speech was the cutest thing ev-"

"Shut up this is my favorite song."

-oOo-

"So. Many. High. School. Musical. References."

"The Langs are such dorks."

-oOo-

"Is it wrong that I want to sing this song? It's about sex."

"Trust me, it's hard not to sing this song.

-oOo-

"That was probably the weirdest play I have ever seen," I said once we had finished MAMD. Natalie was dramatically wiping a nonexistent tear from her eye.

"That was fucking beautiful," she said, sniffling a bit, "Gets me every time."

"You are so weird," I said, earning a punch in the arm, "Ow!"

'You asked for it," she replied nonchalantly, tying her hair into a ponytail, "Now, something is still bothering you, so I advise you to tell me. I am your shrink, after all."

"Ok, you are not my shrink," I said, a small smile forming on my face, "And nothing's bothering me! I'm completely happy!" Natalie narrowed her blue eyes at me suspiciously. She could see through me like saran wrap.

"Fine," I said, deadpanned, "I know that I just broke up with Ian, but, I just...it's Darren. Every time I see him, I like him more and more and I, well..."

"Look, I get it. If anyone knows how amazingly sexy Darren Criss is, it's me," she said, letting the fangirl in her shine through, "But you have to trust me on this. And you have to remember, he's on a TV show. You don't know when he has to jet off to L.A. next, and-"

"Saturday," I said, a small lump forming in my throat, "He leaves the day after opening night." Natalie's eyes widened slightly.

"I'm sorry, B," she said finally, "But maybe it's for the best."

I nodded. I really appreciated Natalie's advice, but at that point all I wanted was to spend more time with Darren. We obviously had a connection, and when I was with him it was like...like all my worries just disappeared. I just felt safe with him. And now that he was leaving, I felt like there would be an empty space in my chest where my heart had been. No matter how many times I tried to convince myself I couldn't fall for him, (or anyone, for that matter), I ended up fantasizing about our next meeting.

"Ok," I said, catching myself sniffling, "I guess we can watch another musical." Natalie smiled widely, pulling up 'A Very Potter Sequel' on YouTube.

It was getting late, but honestly, I just needed a distraction from the pain in my chest.

Anyways.

I have theatre camp this week, so it may take a little bit longer to get up, but trust me, it'll be worth it.

Au revoire! (Sorry if I spelled that wrong. I take Spanish, not French)
