I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing. It wasn't my alarm although it should have been, it was 10:42 in the morning and it was Thursday so that meant I had school but I've already missed Tuesday and Wednesday so I didn't really care about missing another day.
I looked at my phone and saw my moms contact name pop up.
I clicked the accept button and began to talk,
"Mom?" I questioned.
"Charlotte," she said with a stern voice.
"What mom, I literally just left class," I said lying.
"Really?" She asked.
"Obviously," I said standing up.
"You need to stop lying, right now," she said.
"What, what do you mean," I asked.
"So far you have missed the past three days of school," she stated.
"Where have you been?" She asked.
"In my room," I said, lying once again. I did that a lot. Lied, I never lied to Sierra but my mom, I lied to her ad much as I lied to my consounler.
"Why haven't you been going to school?" She asked.
"Because I don't want to go," I said.
"Well I don't care if you don't want to go, get dressed and get to class," she said.
"No," I said.
I was going to hang up after that but my mom kept going on and on about my education.
"If you don't go, your going to come home," I said.
"I'll come home as soon as my father does," and with that I hung up my phone.
My mom has always blamed me for my dad leaving but how can it be my fault, they were supposed to be a hit and quit but then my mom got pregnant and my dad found out. He never was in my life other than a few years so I don't really have a dad.
But the past is the past and I mean , I guess I'm over it.
I mean, yeah.
I walked out to the kitchen to get some food because to be honest I'm hungry and my stomach is making some weird noises.
Its very annoying.
"Char?" I heard Sierra mumble.
"Yees?" I asked.
"Would you shut up," she said laughing.
"Yes ma'am," I said laughing.*skips the day bc too lazy, that's terrible of me, I'm sorry*
"So," Sierra said looking at me.
We were at her new apartment and it was beautiful, there was a beautiful view which she showed me pictures but its so much better in person. She fibbed though, its not a couple streets over its more like 4 bus rides because she is close to the beach.
I love it, I don't want to leave. It's a studio apartment in a building by the beach but I already said that.
"When are you moving in?" She asked.
"Two weeks," I said smiling.
"Good," she said.
"But I have no money," I said, realizing I had absolutely no money.
"I know," she said smiling.
"Why are you smiling?"
"Nothing," she said.
"I hate you so much," I said.
"I know," she said laughing.Dedicating this chapter to 2 people bc of the photo. <3 xD
