I've been going to the coffee shop almost everyday. I talk to the older couple, Their names are Eli and Claire. They owned the coffee shop, they have for the past 20 years. They're sweet, they were new people to talk to and I was comfortable around them.
I walked into the shop and was greeted by the warm smell of pastries and hot coffee. I walked over to the counter.
"Well hello Charlotte," Claire said to me.
"Hi Claire," I said smiling.
"What would you like?" She asked.
"Classic Latte," I said,
"I'll have what she's having," I heard a familiar voice.
I looked behind me and saw Calum, "Now who's the creep," I said smiling.
I've only been here for about 4 days but I haven't seen Calum since the first day. I've been coming to the coffee shop everyday, not in hope to run into Calum like just know but because it reminded me of my grandma, I've learned a lot about the coffee shop in the four days and it's just cozy and warm.
"I'm no creep," he said defensively."Sure," I said grabbing our coffee's and giving him his,
"Hey I have money this time," He laughed.
"I already paid," I said."But you didn't give them money,"
"We have a system," Claire said. "You come here that much?" He asked me.
"Of course, they have amazing coffee," I said taking a sip. "They do have great coffee," He agreed.
"So, why are you here?" I asked."To get coffee," he said sheepishly. "I bet," I said.
