Hey, guys! As you can see, I have just uploaded my first illustration in what seems like forever! I really missed making these, as it gives me something to do other than be bored out of my mind once I finish writing. I am so glad that I now have a laptop so I can upload them again. I will upload some illustrations to some previous chapters in order to make up for their absence.

Also, thank you for reading my story up to this point. I am planning on ending volume one soon, but I will start working on volume two immediately afterwards. Furthermore, please remember to comment, and vote if you like the chapter. Thank you!

"Are we almost there?" Amethyst whines for about the fiftieth time in half an hour, head leaning back on her arms. Helena, at the head of the group due to her natural navigation skills, is clearly annoyed by the she-wolf's incessant questions. Judging by the vein becoming visible on her forehead, she can't take much more. "I told you already..." she says through clenched teeth. "It'll be a few more hours..." Amethyst sighs, clearly bored. She looks down and kicks a rock at her foot, sending the small stone flying, only for it to land in the grass with a small, dissatisfying crunch a few meters away.

She opens her mouth, releasing a pleasant melody, sending it out, into the air.

Away,

Down to the

Plains,

We walk

The sky

Is clear

And blue

Unaware

Of what

The future

Holds

Or the

Lands we

Tread unto

With a knowing smile, Alex looks to her Familliar, before joining in with a slightly higher pitch.

Away, away,

Down to

The plains

Can you

Hear our

Song

The daisies are

Spread far

And wide

Our voices

Clear and

strong

The rest of the group listens intently to the beautiful harmony.

Sing we now,

Oh sing we now

Of the wonders

Untold

Hear me now,

Oh hear me now

Of the beauty we

Behold

For soon it all

Shall be lost

Oh the greed for

Iron and gold
