okay so there's been a huge upset because nasa released new dates for the zodiac signs including a 13th sign, and everyone is freaking out. but there's no reason to panic!!! there's always been 2 different kinds of zodiac- the tropical zodiac and the sidereal zodiac. the sidereal zodiac is based on and follows the fixed stars, while the tropical zodiac follows the seasons/equinoxes. the one that was changed was the SIDEREAL ZODAIC, NOT THE TROPICAL ZODIAC!! the sidereal zodiac is mostly only followed in the east, not in the west.

the reason nasa changed the zodiac dates was because they discovered a new constellation in line with the other 12 that represent the original zodiac signs. and they felt they had to add it to the list, but since the tropical zodiac(aka the western zodiac) doesn't follow the stars and instead follows the seasons, there's no new sign for the tropical zodiac, there's still 12.

so your sign is still your sign, you weren't wrong this whole time, the way nasa phrased it when they broke the news was very misleading and that's what lead to all the chaos.

bottom line, DONT WORRY!!! your zodiac sign is probably still the same unless you follow sidereal zodiacs, but most people follow tropical zodiacs so you're more than likely safe from the reign of Ophiuchus.

continue living your life as the zodiac sign you've identified with for the past however many years, don't worry about it.
