I woke up this morning and before I opened my eyes I remembered I had a sexy body next to me and I wasn't going make a fool out of my self this time , I slowly opened my eyes and started to get up slowly .
It kind of came as a shock to see he was gone , I guess he went home ,but it was half six in the morning and Sky was with Nick and his family last night .
I shrugged it off a started the day , getting the kids ready and making breakfast , it was Friday and I was never so glad .
As the kids and I walked out side I locked eyes with Roman he was just walking away from his door with Sky by his side .
He looked amazing in black jeans , black shoes , black shirt and a leather jacket . As you could tell he was a fan of rainbows .
But he saw me and his head turned forward . He had a cold look in his eyes and his jaw was clenched . Even Skylar was avoiding eye contact and she would usually be waving her hands about like a mad woman right now .
He didn't seem like he was in the mood for talking and I couldn't help to feel embarrassed .
What if I had done something wrong , he was the one who crawled into my bed and fell asleep , he asked me to go with him to the museum , I don't think I did anything .
I quickly reminded my self to shut up because it wasn't my problem if he got his time of the month and was acting like a tool .
I drove Evie and Cole to school , and now it was my turn to pull into the demonic building .
The walls it self screamed depression the were grey and worn out with stoned scatters around the front , to add to it it was freezing but it was winter and that meant winter break which meant less of this awful place which meant a happy me .
I quickly walked into school , thank god my first class was biology , something that I could actually handle .
As I was making my way to the labs out of the corner of my eye I saw Row he was leaning against the locker taking to a girl and there faces were very close .. To close .
When I looked back at his face I noticed his eyes had fallen on me , there was something different about his face it was ..... Colder I think .
I had to remind myself that I had not known him long and he could do whatever he liked , so could I .
He kept his eyes locked onto mine and leaned down to the girls ear , he whispered something into her ear that made her blush , giggle then
lightly smack him on the chest leaving her fingers to linger there .
I don't know how it could happen so fast but within seconds there mouths were on each other and they were making out .
I turned around fast wondering why I was so stupid to stand there like that , it was just I felt like I couldn't move like I was glued to that spot .
His eyes we on me the entire time even as he kissed her his eyes bore into mine .
Turns out I couldn't focus in biology , I blamed it on not getting enough sleep but I knew what it was .
The bell rang for lunch and I waited for Lilly , Violet and ....maybe Sam .
He had been out all week , he told me he was sick but , I knew that was not the case , he's either really embarrassed or something happened between Violet and him after the 'tickle the pickle ' incident .
I sat down at the table , Sam had gotten there before me .
" hey man haven't seen you in a while " I tried not to smirk .
" yeah I had some sort of flu I think " .
" oh yeah , I heard that's been going around ". Of course I was going to humour him because if I was in his place right now I would be in a hole under ground somewhere trying to rid my self of the memory .
We chatted about different things until Lily joined us .
The minute she sat down I knew something wasn't right .
" Hey Lil , what's going on "
She opened her mouth but closed it when she saw Sam .
"Nothing" she said nonchalantly
I guess she wanted to talk about it either alone or not at all , so I didn't press her about it .
Last to arrive was Violet , the minute she sat down the tension immediately rose , I'm not sure what kind of tension it was though .
She coughed , which brought us all out of some sort of trance we were in .
" hey Nov , I saw one of the girls from our class latching on to your neighbour all day "
" yeah , I saw too " I nodded at Vi .
" thing is he didn't seem to be into her " .
I true not to act intrigued as I listened .
" he's been trying to peel her off him all day , she keeps sticking her tongue down his throat and from what I could see by his face , he was not enjoying it " .
I laughed at the faces she was making and nodded .
That was just probably his normal face she was getting confused with , he is obviously going to enjoy a hot girl throwing herself at him .
Driving home I was barely concentrating on driving , which I know was highly irresponsible , but my mind just wouldn't stop , I shouldn't be like this .
That's it , I was declaring my mind a 'No Roman' zone .
I collected the kids from Mrs Mack who was complaining she didn't see the kids or me enough .
We started laughing at something and I was in a better mood when I got home .
It was Friday , so that meant pizza night for the kids .
I was washing dishes when Cole came up to me and tapped me . "Hey Nov , something's up "
" what's up ?" I was confused as to why his face was so serious .
" Blue barely looked at me today , she always smiles at me and hugs me , I .... I .... Missed her today " he said sheepishly .
My heart went out for the kid , I kind of knew what he was taking about .
I knelt down and engulfed him in a big hug " Evie , come on your missing out on a family hug "
" okay one second "
She flew into the room and wrapped her arms little arms around us .
I got up and flicked them with the water on my hands from washing the dishes and told them to get into their P.J's before the pizza .
They bolted up the stairs .
I was taking out the trash when I heard his door open when I looked over he was staring at me intensely .
" Hey Roman , what's up , are you oka-" .
He gave me a cold look and walked away , I saw his jaw clenching and he got into his car .
Where was Sky ?
And why the fuck was he acting like I just stabbed him ? .
After the pizza arrived we ate it in record time and just as I was bout to throw on some comfy pyjamas , there was a knock on the door .
"Nov , open up its me Lil "
I opened the door and saw Lil standing there what a evil smile on her face .
"What ....?"
" we're going out tonight "
" oh no ,no ,no ,no "
" I can't I have to stay with the kids"
" already sorted that out , I just spoke to Mrs Mack , she said she would love to have them for the night "
" but I don't have any things to wear "
" I've got that covered to , she showed me the bags in her hands .
She pushed me up the stairs and started to pull and tug at my hair and my face .
Once we were ready I looked in the mirror , I had a long black dress with a slit up the leg and black heels , my hair was in soft curls and my makeup was minimal but it was there.
Lil looked gorgeous in her royal blue dress that was above her knee and her golden hair down her back .
We didn't look to bad tonight , and that's saying something because it's Hard to get me out of my sweat pants .
I made sure the kids were okay with me going and we left .
We stopped off at a club , there were crowds outside it , some from our school but most a bit older .
Lil had some kind of connection that got us in almost immediately .
As we got in there I saw sweaty body's grinding against each other in strobe lighting and wasted people on the floor and I think some people were smoking joints across the hall .
Nice place .
We ordered two shots and and something else I wasn't sure of .
I threw them back fast . It wasn't the most fun day and I never got to be irresponsible , so why not give it a go .
Alcohol and more alcohol later my head was spinning
I thought I saw his eyes for a second , no I definitely did .
Roman was here .
I decided then would be a good time to go and dance for some reason , immediately I was now being pulled against someone and ground on and almost as quick as the person was gone someone was back and I knew that smell .
Roman dragged me to the corner of the club .
" what the hell are you thinking , coming to a place like this and getting drunk , there's no one with you anyone could just come and take you " .
"Just like you did just now ...?"
"Similar , yes "
He seemed to be saying something important to me with a stone cold expression on his face but I wasn't listening , I was to busy watching his pretty mouth move .
Before I knew what I was doing me hand reached out and was tracing his lips .
He stiffened , and I think he shut up but I couldn't tell .
" Nova , " his voice came out deep " what are you doing "
It was only then I realise my hand had dropped down and was rubbing .... Other places .
He was still not moving and his voice was Strained " Nova of you don't stop , I won't be able to stop "
Now if I was in the right frame of mind I would have stopped but I didn't I kept going .
"NOVA " I heard Lily shout my name through the crowds of dancing people .
"OVER HERE LIL"
When she saw Row her eyes widened .
"Lil , look who I found "
" come on I'm taking you home"
He grabbed my arm and dragged me out of the club , Lily followed .
He sighed and looked at her "get in I'll drop you home "
She nodded and got in .
Once we got home and dropped Lilly off , I was trying to get out of his complicated car .
I eventually got it but really I didn't because he opened my door .
I straightened my self and began to walk ...... Lopsided .
I heard Roman mutter something to himself beside me before he picked me up and threw me over his shoulder .
I knew there was no fighting it so I let my self flop in his arms .
Eventually I was laid into a comfy bed that had his masculine scent printed in the sheets , I snuggled in to them and felt my shoes been taken off then my dress , but I was to tired to care .
I feel asleep in the comfy bed with someone grumbling profanities beside me .
