Surprise Birthday Party

"Happy Birthday!!!" Everyone yelled as soon as Caspar and I walked in the room. At first I thought it was Caspar's birthday and just smiled at everyone. I feel so weird forgetting this day.

"Thank you for all of this!" I thanked everyone and we just all got in a big group hug.

"It's time to partayy!! Woot woot!" Marcus said while him and joe threw their hands in the air.

I laughed then Zoe was like "More like its time to eat" Caspar and I nodded our head agreeing to Zoe.

Marcus and Joe laughed and dance with others.

"You are legal now to make p-" Caspar was cut of by Zoe saying "To make popcorn"

I laughed at Caspar being so immature. I shook my head and got some food with Zoe. I got some pasta and pizza then we sat on a table near the window. The view outside was pretty, there's a garden with a beautiful fountain in the middle. The party was filled with YouTubers and most of them I already met, thanks to Marcus and Sam. They told me that they're doing a double celebration, for my birthday and for a successful Vidcon, but that means that they're going to start leaving.

"Kim, are you okay?" Zoe repeatedly waved her hands in front of my face.

"Yeah sorry, I was in a deep thought" I said then took a sip of my soda.

"May we know what it is about?" Caspar asked

"I was just wondering what's gonna happen if you guys leave back to England"

They both look at each other and back to me "Hmm, I never thought about that," Caspar started, "Maybe your life would turn into a big mess and its only us that can fix it"

I laughed "hopefully I get an acceptance letter before you guys leave"

"You know what lets just enjoy this night and think about other things tomorrow" Zoe got up and Caspar and I followed Zoe to the dance floor.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we're gonna have to slow it down for now and grab that special someone" the DJ announced before starting the music. I started walking back to our table but Caspar held my wrist.

"Can I have this dance?" I turned around and smiled. I wrapped my arms around his neck and his hands rested on my waist. The lights dimmed down and he held me closer.

"I swear this is the best year I've ever had," Caspar said, "I've traveled a lot, met new people, and most especially I met.. You." I stepped back a little and looked at him. His blue/green eyes just sparkled even in this lighting. His lips curved into a smile. I stared into his eyes and searched for his emotion, it was filled with happiness and sincerity. I smiled back "I'm glad I met you" I said.

We were just staring at each others eyes, smiling at each other while swaying with the music. There were a couple of conversation but its just mostly quietness between us and it was an awkward kind of quietness.

"You may now exchange partners to the people on you left" the DJ announced. I quickly looked over and it was Finn. I smiled at Caspar one last time before walking up to Finn who has his hand held out for me. The music changed into something more lively but we have to stay to our new partner.

Finn and I just started dancing like crazy together. We both laughed on how we probably embarrassed ourselves in front of others. After a few minutes I kind of felt tired.

"Are you tired? We can sit down and have a chat?" He offered. I nodded and went to a different table, I'm guessing its their table.

"We haven't really got the time to get to know each other yet, so why don't you tell me about yourself?" Finn asked

Well, I have a better but not so original idea, "what about let's play 20 questions instead?" I suggested

"Okay, you go first"

"When's your birthday??" I asked

"May 13,1993" he answered "My turn, what's your favorite food?"

"That's a hard question," I said making him laugh, "Maybe cookies and cream ice cream"

We have asked each other questions and now, we are down into 2 questions each.

"Hmm, how many boyfriends have you had?" He asked.

"Just one and it wasn't a good one either" I answered. "Do you like anyone right now?" I asked

"Umm yeah" he scratched the back off his head "but I feel like its wrong because I'm with someone"

I nodded my head and smiled about how faithful Finn is to her. "Down to the last question Finnegan" he glared at me for calling him that. "Do you like anyone in the "crew" " he put air quotes on the word crew.

"I don't really know if I like like someone because like I said before I'm a huge fan and I tend to fangirl over everyone. But you know I only knew you guys for about a week so yeah probably not yet" I said. Finn's eyes met mine and we were just basically admiring each other, well at least I can say I am.

"I love your eyes Finn" I said

He smiled and said "I love yours too."

People started coming back to their tables and I got hungry again. I was about to get up then Caspar was holding 2 plates with pasta. He handed the plate to me and before he sat down, I asked him to eat with me outside.

"Sorry if you don't want to eat out here"

He smiled "I kind of want to get away from the partying and stuff."

For minutes, it was just Caspar and I eating our food while admiring how beautiful the night is.

"Kim?" Caspar said

CASPAR'S POV

She turned facing me "Yes?"

I am now second guessing if I should tell her or not. "I know we've just met and known each other for about a week but I just want you to know that..." I looked down at my feet. "That I have feelings for you, and I hope that this doesn't change our friendship"

I was expecting that she would just leave but she did something that I've been waiting to do. "I like you too" she said before our lips collided. We pulled away and she rested her head on my shoulder.

"Since you're in your gap year, I was thinking you might want to go visit South Africa with me?" I shyly asked

"I would love to" she said
