Wild Hearts Are All Over the World

Chapter 7

When we get inside the parlor, Ross tells me that I can sit down and that he can order for me because he thinks he know what I'm gonna get, which makes me laugh. Of course, he comes back with two scoops worth of Rocky Road just for me.

When we sit down, Ross and I talk about the most random things while we're there like favorite things, I tell him what it was like before I knew I was Omar's sister, and other things.

When we're done talking, we decide to go back home. We skate back to Ross's car, and he drives us back to R5's house because it was getting late. Somewhere along the way back, he starts to sing R5's song "Did You Have Your Fun?" because it comes on the radio, and I sing along.

We get to R5's house, and Ross runs to the door. "Oh no..." Ross says as he stands in the doorway. I run over to him.

"What?" I ask before I realize that no one's home. Oh great...

"We're late!" Ross says as he runs upstairs. "Riker, Rydel, Ratliff, and Rocky are going to kill me! Let's go! Wear something nice, please..."

"Got it," I say as I do the same. I run into my room. After a lot of time trying to choose something to wear for soundcheck and the concert, I pick out a black letterman jacket, a pink Vans hat, a sky blue skirt, a teal rose for my hair, a brown leather purse, some shades, and a pink Mickey Mouse sweater. I quickly come down the stairs to see Ross looking at me, starstruck. He whistles, and I blush.

"Well...you clean up good, Rudberg," Ross says with a laugh.

"Thanks. Should we get going?" I ask as I practically pull him out the door. We run to his car, Ross starts it, and we drive to the venue as fast as we can (without going over the speed limit, of course).

When we get there, all the rest of R5 and The Fooo Conspiracy are all waiting for us...with obviously annoyed looks on their faces, and Ross and I don't even have to ask why. They're mad at us because we're about half an hour late, so they had to push soundcheck back because of us.

"Why were you late?" Rocky, Rydel, Riker, and Ratliff yell in unison (or something along those lines).

"Dani and I wanted ice cream..." Ross says innocently.

"'Dani'?" Riker asks with an eyebrow raised and a smirk.

"Yeah..." Ross says as he blushes and looks down, embarrassed, which gets Rocky and Ratliff singing "Rossy has a girlfriend" over and over.

"I do not have a girlfriend!" Ross pouts as he blushes even harder. "And don't call me 'Rossy'..."

"Is that true, Daniella? Are you two really a couple?"Omar asks behind me. I turn around to see him glaring at me.

"No! Of course not," I say as I look at Ross apologetically.

"Good..." Omar says, looking into my eyes. "'Cause if that ever happens, I don't want any publicity on it. Understood?"

"Understood..." I say with a sigh.

"Good," Omar says as he plants a small kiss on my forehead. He turns to everyone else. "Well, what's everybody standing around for? We've got a show to put on in a couple hours! C'mon!"

They all run through all the songs that they're going to play for the concert. Then, we all go back to the R5 house to chill before it starts at 9:00 pm. We play a couple games together (including "Spin the Bottle". I won't go into any details, but Ross and I might've kissed).

Then, I go upstairs and get ready for the concert (I'm the only one that does because everybody else has their own personal stylist that helps them pick out outfits at the venue before the show). I'm wearing some cute jeans, white converse, and a pink blouse. I come down the stairs, and I hear Ross whistle. I roll my eyes.
