~Damian POV~

I breathe in as I walk towards the steps of the house. I hope they freaking answer the door. It's raining freaking hard right now. I step up onto the last step and hold my hand up to knock. I start to hear some type of shuffling noise behind me. I turn around aiming my weapon ready to fire.

I look around, squinting in the rain only to see nothing. I hear nothing else but the sound of heavy rain hitting the ground. I shake my head and knock on the door. I must be paranoid.

I look behind me again to be sure only to see no one once again. I shake my head and turn to face the door as I hear it open. I come face to face with a red eyed Sophia. My eyes soften seeing her like this.

I immediately let the gun hang to my side as I walk up and wrap my arms around her. She clutches onto me, holding the back of my neck and my lower back as she cries into my chest. I feel my skin tingle as her skin touches mine. It's amazing the effect she has on me by a simple touch. She never fails to amaze me.

I rest my head against hers as I hold the back of her head with my hand and the other her waist, "I'm right here." I whisper closely to her ear.

She lets out a sniffle, "I-I was so worried! I f-freaked out. I thought you were dead!" She cries harder into my chest.

I let out a sigh, trying my best not to frown. I hate seeing her like this. Eyes red and puffy from crying. Whenever she'd feel upset in any type of way It always made me feel like I was doing something wrong to not make her happy. I love seeing her smile. I love seeing her smirk when she knows she's right. Granted, I hardly ever caused her to be upset, but I still wanted to see her smile no matter what the purpose. As long as I got to see that beautiful smile.

I swallow knowing that I hardly couldn't control this right now. Of course I can do everything I can to help her, but I have a feeling she's still gonna feel this way. If I would've been in her place I'm positive I would've done the same thing, only I wouldn't be able to function rarely at all.

"Baby I'm right here." I softly whisper in her ear, "I will never leave you." I look down to see her with her eyes squeezed closed and head pressed against my chest.

I feel my heart trying not to shatter as I see her this way. I lean down and give her forehead a kiss. She opens her red eyes and meets them with mine. I smile slightly and brush some hair from her face.

"I won't leave." I whisper looking her in the eyes.

She swallows and slowly nods. I feel myself looking from her eyes to her lips. She slowly gets on her tip toes as I bend down to meet her lips.

I hold her waist as I kiss her softly. I've never shared a kiss like this with her; so much emotion into one simple kiss. Naturally I felt a tingle or spark sort of zap me, but that was natural whenever I kissed Soph.

I break away to meet eyes with her again. She shows a small smile and hugs me again, while leaning her head against my heart. I rest my chin on her head while closing my eyes.

I'm just happy that she's safe in my arms.

*Marlee POV*

I shove the spoon of macaroni and cheese into my mouth. I make a loud 'Mmm' as I roll my eyes back at how delicious tastes. Aaron grins across from me as he shakes his head while eating a spoon full himself.

I tilt my head slightly, a smile growing on my face, "What?"

He shakes his head amused, "Nothing. I just never knew my macaroni tasted so good." He chuckles eating another spoonful.
